I had a problem with this and here is the whole thing i gone through with support personnel and the answer worked great!
Hi Ari,
Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.
We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. If you are having unauthorized issue in your account then we would like to suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps below:-
You can find instructions on how to do unauthorized issue at the following link:
http://support.ea.co...?p_faqid=23584]
If this provided linke doesn't solve your problem then we would like to suggest you to delete all the DLC and then re-download the contents again.
This does not impact saved games. This only deletes all DLC from the system so you may re-download the content again.
Shut down Dragon Age: Origins
In Windows, press the 'Start' button and select 'Run'
In the command line type 'net stop DAUpdaterSvc'
Navigate to 'My Documents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Settings' and delete 'Manifest.xml' and 'Offers.xml'and 'addins.xml'
Navigate to 'My Documents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\bioware\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age' and delete the 'Offers' folder
Navigate to 'C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\All Users\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Application Data\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' and delete the 'DAUpdater' folder
Navigate to 'C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\My Documents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\bioware\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' and delete the 'AddIns' folder
In the command line type 'net start DAUpdaterSvc'
Restart Dragon Age: origins and log in.
After deleted the DLC if you are not able to see the contents in the game menu the We would like to suggest you to run DAUpdaterSvc manually.
You can find instructions on how to do this at the following link:

If the issue persist please reply us back.
i wanted to say that this worked for me as well. the only hiccup was that i could not find: C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\All Users\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Application
Data\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' and delete the 'DAUpdater' folder
this was because windows hides the documents and settings folder. so you may have to go into your c drive, then click the' Organize' button on the top left side of the window, then click 'folder and search' option, then click 'view'. after which, select 'show hidden files and folders' as well as unclick 'hide protected operating files'. you will then be able to navigate the above mentioned path. just make sure that afterwards you go back and click 'hide protected operation files' so they are not accidentally deleted in the future.
after i did all of this i logged into dragon age and had to download all of the previously installed content (including dlc). everything downloaded and installed perfectly. now i can play witch hunt, the golems of amarakk and leliana's song.
i did have to go back and reinstall all mods that i had originally installed with daupdater. but that didn't take long as i was given a list of the missing mods the first time i tried to load a game. i just jotted down the list and reinstalled them using daupdater.
hope this helps. thank you gothlad for posting this.

So, to summarize the thread, if you're having problems, delete the DLC and download them only from the in-game interface. Your problem should be fixed.

(if you have Windows 7) IS:
<<<<< RUN the game.exe AS ADMINISTRATOR. >>>>>
forget about all deleting folders, rename files and account issues
just right click the DRAGON AGE.exe and execute as administrator and the irritating UNAUTHORIZED will be gone !!!
