I have a nagging feeling that the truth will be less interesting than the speculation.  I honestly wouldn't mind being Cole 2.0 but with him being part of the crew it does seem unlikely.

 

I personally expect it to be either unresolved (using stage 1 below) or to have three stages of belief about it:

1. Start by thinking that it was luck or a god(s) that did it (depending how you want to role play it)

2. Learn that someone pulled you in the Fade on purpose to create a "hero" to deal with the problems (i.e. the Big Bad already have someone working against him, this would happen when regaining memories about how you survived the blast)

3. Following 2, you will believe that A is responsible for a long time but there will be a twist about it being B in reality.
