I just wondered if they have followed the Company's reputation amongst the customers/fans, from the Baldur's Gate days to now.

I am really just looking for any links it they exist.

I am only interested in info of any links, nothing at all else.

Thanks for any Link info.

Nope. They're enjoying retirement, rolling around in money and drinking their micro-brew. No one that's made it looks back.

They're millionaires as a result, one of them now spends his time making youtube videos about beer.

Yeah, I'm sure they cry themselves to sleep at night.

Too bad the videos are boring.

Don't say that, Greg's already heartbroken from selling BioWare to EA. Harsh words about his beer show might push him over the edge.

Nope. They got a lot of money to cash out. I would have done something similar in their position.

Besides, it wasn't really them selling the company as it was the private equity firm investing in Bioware/Pandemic (which was founded by John Riccitiello former CEO of EA) negotiating a deal to acquire BioWare and Pandemic for $860 million

Bioware is bigger than they have ever been, and the Doctors are Rick Ross rich. I'm sure they're happy.

Only the Doctors can answer that. And they're not here to answer. Speculation is too biased,

I would have to say that only they know for sure, it would be interesting to get their perspectives on the direction Bioware has taken since EAs acquisition.
Until they speak out all we have is lots of speculation from everybody...

Sadly this, when it boils down to it, it's all about money. Doctors either went to EA and got lots of money or risked the company going bankrupt. Any smart businessman is not going to go bankrupt when they have an option to stay afloat and make alot more money. Also if Bioware does get liquidated it does not matter to the doctors anymore since they left the gaming business with alot of cash and are simply enjoying their life now.

Well, they claim they don´t regret the ending of mass effect3 and are actually proud of the quality of what they delivered, so I don´t really care about if they regret selling bioware or not.

After that, I can only say I´m glad they´re gone. Good riddance. Anyone able to defend ME3´s ending is nothing but a cancer to the industry. The game world is better without them, who outstayed their welcome. I hope they can enjoy their millions, while being far away from game development. it´s better for all parts involved, including them, who can always use EA as escape-goat, and try to hold on to their old prestige, hoping that people will not associate them with the disappointments that TOR, DA2 and ME3 were. No need for a fourth strike.

A small company with 6 guys with 3 C++ programmers(Two who were officially not but just did it on the side) turning into a company which EA paid 800 million for.

I am pretty sure they are more than satisfied.

Depends on whether they saw the whole thing as just a means to financial success and fulfillment of ambition or as a personal passion.

And no, it can't be both.

I respect people who stay by their vision, even if I think it personally sucks. People changing their visions midway through just to please people get less respect.

There´s nothing about the me3 ending worth of respect. I can´t say if they simply have bad taste of if they were afraid of talking bad things about the game. In any case, to me, they both suck and I´ll be glad if they never return to everything game-related. By fat, the best thing they´ve ever done for the game industry was leaving it for good. And for that, I could not be more grateful.

Doubt they care, they got nice amount of money, if they wanted to get back into things, they could just start over.
