We've all been assuming that since Cullen's an npc LI, then there has to be a female npc LI, too. So far, people have been assuming Scribbles, but what if it's Celene? It wouldn't be the first time in Dragon Age history that we've married the ruler of a country and sat on the throne with them (Alistair and Anora). Celene's single and not too much older than our already confirmed LIs. She's one of the few characters I can see having race restrictions, but she's old enough to make the chances for an heir negligible, so marrying a woman would probably cause only a minor scandal. She's implied to be bisexual (definitely into women, maybe into men). It could be interesting, no?
Celene a possible npc LI?

I think she was confirmed a lesbian, wasn't she?
It seems like she would have too many restrictions to function well as an NPC. If she is a lesbian, she can't even make her relationship with the female PC official. I also doubt we'll have all that much interaction with her. I'd rather she was able to reconcile with Briala and bring the humans/elves together. Scribbles as a bisexual NPC with more frequent content seems like a more balanced option.

She could be another "anora" character. If the Inquisitor gets powerful enough, maybe an empress would consider them.

Cailan was going to divorce Anora and marry her. It could have been political, but might have been more mutual. I don't know. She may have been confirmed to be a lesbian, but I don't remember seeing it.

On a side note, I am hoping the game has a good amount of political intrigue, it will be a nice break from combat on ocassion and good RP.

Didn't she and Briala have a falling out? ( I haven't been able to read the books yet, but I hear things.)
If she's a lesbian instead of a bisexual, then her chances go down, but it's still possible.

Patrick has mentioned her as a lesbian.

I doubt it, we got lucky with King Alistair but I don't think we'll get Celene

I'd find it most fascinating if Celene was actually a heterosexual relationship option... Obviously she herself prefers the company of women, but I think a cold, political "Romance" would be an interesting exploration of the politics of Marriage and dynasty in Orlais.

Personally, I'd rather see Celene and Briala get back together again. I did quite enjoy reading their little private moments, and it was a good pairing.
Probably not going to happen though, given what Celene did to Briala's parents and to the elves in Halamshiral (though she forgave Celene for the latter, I doubt it'd be that simple for the former).
Ah well, I suppose if I want to see more 'Brilene' I'll have to settle for fanfiction.
But as Celene being a possible LI for the Inquisitor? Fem!Quisitor would be more likely to get into her pants (I believe Patrick Weekes confirmed she was a lesbian?). I suppose Man!Quisitor might get a shot but I think that would be more like the marriage with Anora than it would, say, a relationship with one of the party members.
Not for me, really...

I think a more involved political marriage would be wonderful. Guys would get the chance to influence policy as her husband, girls would get to be her lover and advisor in a Briala-like role... Different relationships for different genders. I don't think they'd do that, though. If there's a political marriage it will probably go down like it did with Anora, right at the end so that she can keep her crown.

She wouldn't be a LI. A fling romance perhaps, but not a full Love Interest.

While I cannot see it happening, I would love to have her as one.

you would have to be a female elf...
dont want her, would rather kill both leaders and briala... and give the throne to myself or someone else who deserves it for once

She's a Lesbian? Oh....my inquisitor wanted to subjugate the Orlesian Empire by seducing Celene (and no I didn't read the Masked Empire).

I would like to have a fling, not anything committed to get in the way of her love for Briala... but yeah I want to tap that. Also I'm pretty sure she's a lesbian, her interest in marrying Calian was purely political.

I'm pretty sure she's a lesbian and I also think there's zero chance she will be a npc LI
