I'm not seeing this happening. I think it might be possible, but I wouldn't bank on it. I vaguely remember DG saying there wouldn't be a political marriage scenario, at least not one with the pc directly involved, though don't hold me to that.

We've all been assuming that since Cullen's an npc LI, then there has to be a female npc LI, too. So far, people have been assuming Scribbles, but what if it's Celene? It wouldn't be the first time in Dragon Age history that we've married the ruler of a country and sat on the throne with them (Alistair and Anora). Celene's single and not too much older than our already confirmed LIs. She's one of the few characters I can see having race restrictions, but she's old enough to make the chances for an heir negligible, so marrying a woman would probably cause only a minor scandal. She's implied to be bisexual (definitely into women, maybe into men). It could be interesting, no?
It would be even more interesting if you met Briala along the way. That would make for an awkward conversation.

But no, he'll probably make his case on why you should join him or at least why you shouldn't join Celene and if you refuse he'll just tell you to get out of his way. I very much doubt he'll risk fighting a war in two fronts.

A thought on the political marriage thing; Truth be told, even assuming I could get over my personal issues with her in the interest of accumulating power to help close the breach(which I probably could), I wouldn't be particularly comfortable with the match. I wouldn't feel comfortable, as a player, not so much in character, but as a player, putting someone in a position where they need to compromise their sexual identity for reasons of social expectation.

Well, I'm guessing you wouldn't be forced into it. I'm rather curious about this. If the Inquisitor were to forge political alliances with either Gaspard or Celene, will we have to fight in the civil war in Inquisition or will that be put off (to the books) while we try to close the breach?
I think it'd be interesting if she was a minor love interest for both genders, but had the romance change a lot in each. She could be a fling for the lady inquisitors and a wife for the male human ones. It'd give me a reason to play as a human. XD
Something that has to be considered though, is if the human inquisitor is of noble birth. Although I guess if we're gonna become super important people in the game, might as well get some lands and a title out of it. The castle is already confirmed anyway.
