Is Zevran supposed to show up in your camp after you tell him to let the Crows know not to send anyone else? The codex says something about "who knows where he ended up".
I have some mods in for a different game but this happened even after I disabled them. Just wondering what's supposed to happen in a vanilla game.

Sounds like you sent him away, otherwise how else would he 'tell the Crows' anything? In that case he wouldn't turn up in your camp.
In a vanilla game you can kill him, tell him to leave or let him join.
Yeah, I think you sent him away. For me, he sticks around with me and we get ambushed in Denerim. Killing the assassins they sent was the only message I gave the Crows.
Yes, I did try to send him away, but he showed up in my camp directly afterwards. I was wondering if I was bugged, and I guess I was, but I have no idea why. 
That playthrough is toast, but I'd really like to figure out why this happened so that it doesn't happen again if I choose to send him away. I've got ZDF and Zevran Romance Scenes installed, and I tried disabling the Zevran Romance Scenes but nothing changed.
You could just tell him to leave in camp? It's not a perfect solution, but it'd have the same effect.

As an aside, there is one pitfall to using the command I suggested. Go here, then scroll down to the part regarding the warnings of using the "selectparty" command.
