I would love the whole Qanari Mage look to return if we are getting that kind of customization freedom.

It depends on what you mean. We will have a mage who is a Quanri as one of the PC options. That character cannot be Saarebas because they do not follow the Qun.

I'm talking about as an option no matter if they follow Qun or not. Perhaps as DLC if it wouldn't fit into the main game. I would mine having the clothes or look the Saarebas had.

Saarebas are part of the Qun. Saarebas is the name and the role of Mages within the Qun, or so i'm lead to believe. Unless you were talking about PC when you said "they do not follow the Qun" in that case ignore my incorrect response to your statement.

Don't know yet. Maybe later. First is always a human and second an elf.

I just wished, races would add more than just different skins for the player-figure... like actual perks. Buuuut, that would be one of the many things which would need Bioware to deepen the RPG-system of Da. So it's unlikely.

To the Qunari, all mages are saarebas.  That's simply the word for mage in qunlat.

According to the Dragon Age wiki, "Qunari Inquisitor is a Vashoth, a Qunari who was never introduced to the Qun".
If this is true, then I find it very unlikely.

We don't need to be an actual Qunari Saarebas to have that outfit, only that the outfit is wearable by our Saarebas Inquisitor, and of course an enemy Saarebas we have to kill and loot it from. I dream of running around killing every killable creature I see in that outfit in the open world of Inquisition.

Now combine that with being a necromancer mage, and you've got yourself "super happy fun time".

Yes, you can be a Qunari Mage. No, you can not be qunari mage who is part of the Qun aka "Saarebas".

Oh, the outfit? That's possible. I'm not sure if Bioware will invest in what would basically amount to bondage gear for the PC though, since it would be race specific armour.

According to the wiki Saarebas just means "dangerous thing" in qunlat, meaning that every qunari will tell you that you are a saarebas if you are a mage, qun or not. In DA 2 for example, if hawke reveals to the arvaraad in the saarebas quest, that he is a mage, he'll just say "bas saarebas, kill it!" and proceed to fight without further dialogue. Another example, there are various saarebas on some tal vashots groups specially on act 3 on wounded coast.

The qunari have this view, though, were people are "things" the sense that everyone has some essential characteristic that define who and what they are exhaustively. A mage is a sareebas and can't be anything else - they either accept that role or not. Non-qunari mages don't.

Even if we can't be an actual Saarebas, I would like the armor.
