The state of leveling in most modern MMO's is a great example of this. People always whine about leveling being too hard, until it gets "fixed" and then they whine about it being too boring.

I've never heard of this guy before, who the hell does he think he is?

Probably the worst/best let's player on youtube. You should watch the montage Videos.

The  "This is how you don't play (Insert game)"  &  "DSP experiences bugged (....) Mechanics"  are the best.

My personal recommendation's are This is how you don't play GTA5, MGS, castlevania & Bayonetta

Oh and "DSP tries it Rage Quit HD remake" is the best thing Ever  :lol: Seriously man you'll laugh your ass off

I want to see him play i wanna be the guy/boshy it's bound to be a ragefest ! i can't say i care  much for his videos, the amount of whining and bitching is pretty damn annoying but seeing all his fails and idiot remarks about how badly designed the game is when it's he who just suck does have some entertainment value.

It seems to me that the answer would be having difficulty levels and largely disregarding the people who are terrible but think they should be able to beat the game on the hardest difficulty.

I would also advise largely ignoring the people who get butthurt over a game having an easy difficulty that is actually easy.

Then the people who want everything to be super difficult can play on hard and the people who want to mindlessly hack and slack their way through armies of bad guys can play on easy.

You...You I like.

Oh. DSP.

This thread has already provided many laughs. Enjoy my Likes.

I've decided to do my DA:O run on Normal or easier. I'm not gonna whine about it like DSP. I just want to see the story and rush into cool looking battles with whoever I want to bring with me.

I can't tell whether DSP is putting on an act or if he's really this bad. Actually, yeah, he's just this bad.

~~~
I believe that as time continues and society changes, we'll just see more and more of this. 'People' be dumber, while a person can be smarter than ever before, and the world overall improves - especially if you focus on improvement of the self.
Just don't worry about the dumb videos, comments, etc. That's the price of a world (and in this smaller case, a game industry and genre) that gets better and better, and has more and more possibilities available to it. Many will take the easy way out, and have their crowds of sycophants to cheer them on, instead of having to make themselves better to survive (or in this smaller case, win the video game).
Don't worry about DSP. Aim your feedback to companies yourself, and if they don't deliver on what you want to see, it is okay to move on and find another company that will. That's the world today and into the future.
For every disappointment from a major publisher, a few indie games will pop up that'll wow you. Roleplaying games are fine :)
While this is true regardless ( ;) ), I do remember DSP dying dozens of times in the Witcher 2 prologue, then blamed the game's programmers for being incompetent.
DSP is stupid.
DA:O had some impossible moments on Normal difficulty. Like killing the Dragons and Dragonlings. I just skipped those areas and it wasn't worth returning there.
This just reminds me that every single blasted fight in DA:O was scripted. God that was annoying. You have no choice but to wade through it all.
I think this advent of dumb gamers simply means game developers need to amp up their game tutorial systems instead of meeting those players at the bottom where they wont actually experience the game.
Look at fighting games for example. The gap between a newbie and someone who understands the mechanics are HUGE. But theres nothing in the previous generations of games that explain to the newbies what the people who know how to play the game who actually know. Things are fortunately changing now thanks to games like KI2014 or hopefully USF4 but the fact remains.
Most people dont know about Wake-ups, frametraps or cancelling. But theyre crucial in actually playing the game.
This guy doesnt know things we take for granted. He doesnt know how to play tactically. Hes been forcefed games where you press an easy button to win the game and it really shows. Its all he knows.
I admit I died dramatically in that skeleton ambush the first time I playd DAO, but that was hilariously awful. :lol:  The first part of running back and forward forever was rather boring, but when he accidentally went the wrong way and triggered even more skeletons to attack I lost it. Then he ran into the dreaded room with the fire traps: SKELETONS! LMAO. :lol:
KOTOR was the first western RPG I played (unless you count Ultima and Zork, then it was the 3rd) and it was very difficult for me on my first run; I missed out on all of the cool force powers due to auto leveling and basically allowing the AI to determine what skills/abilities better suited my character. My second go was much more improved; I learned how to level properly, what skills to expend att. points on and which gear was best suited for the dreaded vulkar part of the game - once I figured out that KOTOR was essentially a tactical game things made more sense and I stopped looking at it like a JRPG/FF7 type of RPG game.
I love the setting when there is a region with several cities and you are doing the quests you're given by the rulers or other people outside these cities.
Might and Magic IX did this for me (I became familiar with this game because of Heroes of Might & Magic IV). I never had played any game like that before (Though it was a mediocre game in many aspects).
And almost at the same time I found KOTOR and NWN 1. These three games were my Standard of RPGs. Later in 2009 and 2010 I found other kind of RPGs that were a little different like DA:O, Fallout: NV and Mass Effect 2. Now RPG in general should look like these for me. Final Fantasy isn't interesting to me in general but I might try the new FF XV if someday it comes for PC.
Idiot or not, clearly this guy's doing something right if he's managed to turn playing video games badly on YouTube into a legitimate career.
Although personally I've never gotten the appeal of watching other people play games on the internet myself.
