After reading some threads and going over some topics I and other's created I cant find it within myself to do another play through. Maybe you guys can inspire me or tell me ways around avoiding or not putting up with certain role playing issues. These are more like complaints than issues but here they are:

1. Liara: I never liked the character nor do I like how Bioware pushes her on us. If there is someway to avoid having her period please let me know. She is the biggest turn off to me in the whole trilogy. I only used her because of singularity but since I did plan on being an adept shes no longer needed. The reason why I said "did" is because she turned me off from touching the adept class. I want nothing to do with her period and if there is a way I never have to see her in the trilogy you have my thanks.

2. Classes: I know each class has its ups and downs but I still cannot decide on a class. I like using powers and I enjoy being able to kill enemies fast. I still experiment with the multiplayer but I cannot decide on a class that fits me still. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

3. Vega: Is there a way Javik can throw him out the airlock? I really don't see the point or need of a Vega on my ship. An his character is dull. I'd prefer kaidan over Vega except I always kill kaidan because....well its...kaidan.

4. Forced RP: There are some scenes or rp elements you cant skip that are unnecessary. Is there a way around that in mass effect 3? Also do I have to sit through conversations with the squad mates all over again throughout the whole trilogy for loyalty missions or extra bonuses gained by talking to them. No offense Garrus but can it wait for a bit I'm in the middle of a forum.

There is no way to avoid Liara in the trilogy. In ME1 do everything possible that you want to do, then go to Therum to rescue her. Don't talk to her and don't pick her to go with you to Ilos and you never see her for the rest of the game

In ME2, if don't want to recruit Thane or Samara, you don't even have to see her at all in the game.

ME3, when talking with her, take the bottom right dialogue which will end the conversation quicker. Don't talk with her at all during the game, except cutscenes and missions that require having her. If you decide to talk with her in London, she will not offer the gift or you could just walk right by her avoiding her completely.

If you haven't played as an engineer, why not give it a try?  For me its the most fun I have playing.

Vega you can completely ignore throughout the whole game after Palaven.

With cutscenes that are unavoidable, I usually push the square button(ps3) to skip through the dialogue depending on what character I'm talking with. If Garrus is in ME3, he is a required squadmate for Palaven and after that you can ignore him except for the cutscene you have after you cure/sabotage the genophage.

True Answer: You just described half the game OP. Just don't play it.

Trying To Be Helpful Answer:

Liara - You have to use her in Mars and Thessia, and a few other scenes. Other than that, she is optional. She'll always have her piece (..erm, 'period'), but you can still avoid the *majority* of it.

For ME2 you don't even have to visit her.

For ME1 you can save her for the last part of the game, and you don't have to speak to her much after that.

Class - Personally, I prefer Vanguard. Rushes in, does his stuff, kills fast, can have more defense than some other classes, but also isn't as boring as Soldier can be.

Vega - You have to use him for that first bit of Mars and on Menae. After that, he's optional. He'll have his piece in a few parts of the game, but much less than Liara. You can just as well regard him as a grunt with a little more personality, staffing your ship.

Forced RP - For ME3, you don't really 'have to' do much RP at all. There's the main story, yes, but you can also just get swept towards the end without much other RP at all. Just don't expect the better endings is all.

For ME2, you have to do some. You need two henchemen alive and onto the Normandy during the Suicide Mission for Shepard to survive. This likely will require some Loyalty Missions.

For ME1, you don't have to do much at all. Just get the main story done.

There isn't a way around 'RP' in itself. This is a Shooter-RPG. The RP is part of the game. You'd be just as well asking to skip sections of shooting (this is actually something I hope in the next game, but still).

You can speed through RP with spacebar if you wish.

Well if you're on PC you could just swap your teammates or play solo, but you wouldn't be able to progress on most missions if you were to do that. So yeah, Liara is very important in all of the games.

I'm so happy that I like Liara's character enough not to have to debate her usefulness.

I don't like the fact she's important in my game but I am alright with it.

Even if she were a horrible character, her skillset would make up for it.

In all three games.

Huh. I don't feel particularly dead.

And I really don't understand what is it that you have against Dr T'Soni. She seems like a sweet girl. Easy on the eyes. I mean if you like the bookish sort.
