An oldie but goldie.

 

Used to play Crusader pretty much exclusively on this guy way back in the day.  Crusader was my first promotional gun, and I had it leveled way up before the store saw fit to give me a Hurricane I sometime in July of 2012.

Yes, but I suck at modding. (I can only hax objectives, that's pretty much it.)
And I am too lazy to do it anyway.

It there's a file available to download and just substitute in the game files, I may do it then.

it seems like it was designed to be the no-scope'ers choice, (since most sniper rifles have that annoying no-scope penalty) but it didn't work because you don't have a cross hair unless your scoped :/

Its my favorite shotgun for the Juggernaut, since most of the time your in CQC. Its the perfect mook killer.

My turian sentinel loves his Crusader. It's just so much fun killing guardians with it.

 

As well as pretty much everything else.

That slight delay before the shot fire really sucks when you've got a Possessed ABomb or two rushing you ... but on the Vanilla HSol, with AR... yeah, I can forgive it just for the speed at which it gets rid of Atlases, Scions, Praetorians ... basically anything you can't miss.

 

If it wasn't for the delay and the dinky little crosshairs, it would be incredibly good... as it is, it's a bit of a niche weapon that works well on a few kits.

It is excellent mook killer and an even better boss killer.

 

I am Pc player and I played it many, many times -friend of mine loves it- on many kits, never had any problems hitting what I want.

I am of the opinion that there is no 1 ultimate shotgun, but that the elite shotguns each fill their own role. For example, the Reegar is the best hands down against shields. The Piranha is a rapid fire wall of destruction, but lacks the overall power of the Claymore and Wraith. The crusader is exceptional at range, but at point blank I would still take a Wraith or Piranha.

Crusader is great but the bug it has is really annoying. No fix for xbox, AFAIK, so I tend to hover the crosshair on a target for a moment before shooting if it's stationary or lead it just a bit if moving. I don't even try to get headshots with it because it's bugged though I still usually manage to get the 10 HS medal.

I find it's not entirely reliable off-host, but it's a good shotgun.  It seems to work nicely with the SE (and GE), so I might try it on other characters.

Crusader is fun and very versatile, I like this gun on many characters. Really good on the melee Krogan Sentinel. Ridiculously powerful and hilarious on Hunter Mode characters with Drill Rounds.

Actually, what happened was I maxed my Saber and learned to use it (finally) on the Juggernaut, the easiest kit to learn a weapon's quirks on. So I got good with the Saber, then compared it to my close-behind Crusader VIII

I like the Crusader too.

But, what are you talking about regarding the Saber? Isn´t it the most straightforward gun to use?

Javelin/widow and especially kishock (on host and no stagger ofc) are unforgiving to people with bad aim, as well as supressor pistol, as well as CTS-palladin.

 

Crusader (unfixed) doesn't reward good aim. It's actually almost opposite.

 

Stahp what, liking a good gun that you don't like? I bet more than half the people who have posted here are PC mustard race, and don't mod the weapon to make it sing.

 

I think you need to learn to shoot. Not joking, either.

Please, show me the video with reliable twitch-headshots at 60+ FPS with the unfixed gun.
