Cuz all he could post is him sucking with the Crusader.
That would be the implication that I made, yes.

You are beating a dead horse with the bug thingy. To be honest at this stage it is poor excuse. Take deep breath close your eyes, open it again and forget about that it is a bug. At this stage it is completely unimportant. Are you willing to learn and adapt? Yes or no?
It is a typical you get what you give situation.
If you are willing to invest the effort and the time to learn this gun, to change and to adapt, then you get a wonderful gun.
If you keep insisting that it is bug, it is bug, hence I won't change because it is bug, then you get a crappy gun with bug.
Your choice.
What is all this nonsense about a high learning curve? There is no learning curve. You just need to anticipate your lag and the delay.
ANYWAYS, what are your guys' favorite Crusader kits?
The Batarian Slaver is a definite favorite. Something so satisfying with using the Crusader at long range while Shockwave Hatesurfing up close.

Yeah, and good with Sub Net, too.
It might be there is nothing more satisfying than Netting a Phantom mid-flip and blowing her away with the Crusader for Khar'Shan.

It's hit scan. It'll shoot exactly the same way, regardless of latency.
Hit scan weapons in ME3 register hits on client, so no lag involved.

Heh - well, I'll upload a video I shot earlier of me sucking with a Crusader instead ![]()
... and I swear this game knows when I'm going to record a video on U/U/G - I've only ever recorded 3 and every time it's given me Rio :\

So that you're not sitting there like a moron thinking "just one more bullet in this crabs face and it'll die, oh wait I'm sync'd."
See, now you're just making fun of me.
Is there not still a lag related issue of an enemy appearing somewhere they're not? This is not just the Crusader I'm talking about, mind you. Being aware of your lag on a host is pretty important for all weapons. So that you're not sitting there like a moron thinking "just one more bullet in this crabs face and it'll die, oh wait I'm sync'd."
The Crusader itself has a delay and you have to account for enemy movement and that's a little harder to do on console. But you already know that, PC mustard race.
Na, the enemy hit boxes register hits regardledss of where the enemy is.
I'm sure you'll have encountered the off-host desync, where enemies jumping up to, or down from ledges won't perform their animation, and instead stand there for a second or two, then teleport to where they are supposed to be. If you hit them while they are stationary and desync'd all your hits still register.
I have several kits:
Havoc: IMO crusader fits nicely with cryo blast. Good passives, good survivability and good debuff/CC.
Juggernaut: no melee, pure shooting. I like it because of stagger and snyc kill immunity so you can just shot, shot, shot. No siege pulse spamming at least not with the crusader, it just interfers with shooting. Ofc when you need stagger you have your light melee at close range, and sige pulse for mid-long range.
Batarian sentinel for the reasons already mentioned. IMO it is one of the best kits for the crusader. Tanky, it has subnet for mooks and shockwave to stagger armoured enemies. I happy to pug plat with this kit (without cyclonics), I think it is one of the most underrated kits ever.
Krogan shaman, basically for the same reasons as the Bat.sent. Plays out a bit differently, but it is the same concept.
Might make a crusader video. Tempted.

Nah that's legit. But lag might be messier with it. Specifically I'm thinking of shooting when enemies are teleporting around. As your oh so beautiful connection I'm sure never causesIs there not still a lag related issue of an enemy appearing somewhere they're not? This is not just the Crusader I'm talking about, mind you. No, teleporting enemies? Of course not.

I played on her host on PS3, I actually didn't notice teleporting enemies. Granted it was a duo, but I was still expecting the poltergeist to happen.
Yeah you can get used to the delay. It still is going to be more difficult to make high deflection shots with it than it is with every other gun in the game.
Anyway, Human Soldier, Human Infiltrator, Destroyer, GTS, GE. I think I might have used it on QFI a couple times.
I feel like many of you do not really understand the issue many of us have with the delay. More than anything, it's extremely annoying to have to compensate for.
As an analogy, let's compare shooting to driving a race car. At first, you will probably drive the course relatively slowly (eg aim deliberately, hover the crosshair, stagger enemies first. All the things the Crusader needs to be effective.). Then, as you improve, you will drive the course faster and faster, taking the turns as quickly as possible (eg aim more quickly, snapping to the target and firing instead of waiting for the enemy to come into the crosshair). This faster driving is, of course, much more thrilling, fun, and effective (like twitch shooting).
Now, say someone came up to you and said "Hey, I've got this great car you'll love. It handles like a dream, is super powerful, etc. It only has one flaw. You can only corner with it at 25 miles an hour." I don't know about you, but my response to that would be "Why bother with it? That's not going to be nearly as effective or fun as driving my racecar, which can take those corners at 100 miles an hour."
The Crusader is that car that can only corner at 25 mph, due to the fire delay bug. Though it may be very powerful in a limited use, it is much less fun to use and less effective in more chaotic circumstances.
