Meh... When it comes to romance I think me3 nailed it on the ball. Different sets of romances for different types of characters e.g Steve and traynor. I liked traynor as a straight male gamer but if I can't have traynor tough... Make a female ...

As for everyone else you can't really expect bioware to cater towards everyone's personal preferences , just like they can't create your imagined warden or hawke.... (Although hawke might be possible....)

strongly approve.

With both gender, not everyone is completely gay or straight; a significant portion may be a mix but suppress one of the two impulses.

Meh, not too fond femshep's romance options in ME. Maleshep had all the cool choices. Miranda, Jack, Ashley. Give poor femshep Aria and James at least! Some people only like to play once, have set canon characters or simply prefer playing a specific gender. In that case it sucks.

And I'm worried about my murder options being limited. But that's the kind of game they want to make, and we'll have to live with that fact.

You are on firmer ground with murder since it's not a consensual act. :D

I do the murderfest once each game, but alot of NPCs cant be killed by the player so that bites. I only do this once after I've already played it a couple times. :) then I play another saving everyone.

True.  The Warden had pretty much free rein to murder random characters without any consequences.  I'm sure the beloved murder knife will return, but will the Inquisitor be able to go on a killing spree?  Hmm...

Literally one female out of every romanceable female in the game was unavailable to a male protag.  Of course you didn't mind that.

not all in the same playthrough though, in the one playthorugh of the series maleShep gets the same number of options as FemShep, but her ME2 romances suck hard and Ashley wasn't made bi for whatever reason

I'd like A romance that seemed appealing, but thus far all the female companions are duds to me, oh well

I have a suggestion for dragon age 3: first of all I am sending this to you because I don't know who to send it to nor how to get in contact with them. If i may ask can you make sera, hear me out don't delete or ban me till after you read message and then if possible pass it on to who needed to get this message instead, able to romance with males to like the bard (I forget how to spell her name) I know it begins with a M the main reason is I love the elves I am always dalish, regardless of wither the person I romance is city dalish or Mage backround second I know it is possible as I stated earlier with the bard. Third I leave with a question if nothing else I would to at least know why she female only and/or would change her if they could but the game is too close to finishing to change it

No, Sera is lesbian just like Dorian is gay. It won't be changed just cos you wanna bang her with a male elf.

This is why I generally avoid the forums, or more specifically these threads. I have no idea why people yell at each other half the time.

sorry OP don't agree with you at all

this playersexual approach of DA 2 was heavily critized and I'm also no fan of it

It takes away from the uniqness of your companions by just making everyone bisexual

I actually like Bioware's approach with DA: I, I mean there is Dorian who is pretty awesome

and there will be atleast get another guy who is bi so whats the problem?

Two options for a gay inquisitor should definitely enough

I think it's safe to say that the amount of criticism of DA2's approach to romance has already been exceeded by the criticism of DAI's approach, and the game isn't even out yet :) .  And that just makes sense, because it doesn't matter how you pick the winners and losers (and I'm one of the winners since I get to romance the character I most wanted to romance, Sera) it'll never be as good as a system in which everyone is a winner and no one is a loser.  Is the DAI method better than the ME3 method?  That's almost certainly the case, since ME3's method was absolutely horrible, as literally every female teammate LI was romanceable by male shepard, but only one of them (out of 5 total) was romanceable by female shepard, and that one was available all the way back in ME1 days, which meant, as awesome as Liara was, femshep players literally had no new teammate LIs in either the 2nd or 3rd game, completely inexcusable.  Granted we did have a non-teammate LI each game in Kelly (ME2) and Samantha (ME3) , but that obviously doesn't make up for not being allowed to romance any of the new teammate LIs.  If they'd just used the DA2 method, everyone would've been happy, nobody would've complained, and it would've been a whole lot more fun.  So while no doubt DAI's system will be an improvement over the abysmal ME3 approach, the DA2 system will remain the best and most popular because more choices are always more fun than less, that's pretty obvious to just about anyone playing an RPG :) .
