How long until we are done here?

if youd like we can return to the topic of armor practicality:
tumblr_mzv17dCg2j1ql3vmxo1_500.png

As I said in the other thread, some types of clothing in context is perfectly fine - as is having manshep and kaidan wandering around naked during their romance scenes for example, or whoever.
What wouldn't be is if kaidan went into battle in tight leather shorts, sunglasses and a leather hat.
Context is key, and having samara fight collecters with her boobs out isn't appropriate in that context; same as if vega wore pants that showed off his arse cheeks during a fight.
The fact that it is only the women who suffer this is where the problem is.

I get what you're saying. But didn't someone else in this thread point out how Thane's outfit has a similar treatment since atleast half of his pecs are totally bare for no reason? It's not even a shirt with closures undone, it's just a top that's purposely cut out that low. Perhaps the nature of an assassin's work involves less exposure to open gunfire, and Thane likes style, but he sure didn't change his outfit once joining the squad lol.

Of course, generally speaking male cahracters barely suffer this treatment as much as women do hence your point, but the fact that Bioware did take that liberty w/ Thane''s outfit is interesting to consider.

http://mattrhodesart.../vivienne#notes

The original artist who drew Vivienna white didn't do it because they were new or couldn't draw different ethnicities, but because Vivienne "would be prettier white" and "Orlais is fictional france so black people shouldn't exist" and Matt  defended the artist without even looking into those gross racist arguments they presented.

http://24.media.tumb...oolao1_1280.png was how the artist in question drew Vivienne.

Hmm.. while he definitely shouldn't have rushed to the defense of that ass without knowing the facts first, it seems he apologized for jumping the gun: http://mattrhodesart...651462/vivienne

To be fair, it's because of his Kepral's Syndrome. Apparently, it helps with breathing.

Masks and air hoses would be better imo, but then he would probably look like ass with an Oxygen tank strapped on.

It could have been cool for his armor design. Say that he needs supplement oxygen or something for more strenuous activities like sustained combat. Then strap the tanks to his armor.

Honestly, OP. Their outfits don;t bother me at all. *ducks* In fact, I love ME2 Jack's style alot. With all the tattoos showing.

What bothers me is the Miranda azz shot that gets shoved in my face when I'm trying to talk to her. That bothers me. Ashley's transformation I found odd just cuz of how she spoke abt that kinda thing in ME1. Everyone else, heck, if that's their style, that's their style.

For the males I preferred the male build from ME1. It seemed more natural to me than the super flared upper body stuff from ME2-ME3. (and the men in ME1 use to have an azz. I don;t know where they went...?)

Yeah, he apologized once people informed him but it's still super crappy and he should have deleted the post, he's a artist of the series, people look up to him and wait for him to post these opinions. I'm really surprised he just jumped into everything?

And on topic- I feel like Jack has the worst design for a shirt, tbh. If they wanted to show her tattoos and make her all sexy or whatever they really could have picked a more suitable oufit.

Straight male here, but if I ever managed to do a Femshep run through I'd pick Thane as a LI assuming I could get over my adolescent inclination to see girl-on-girl action. That and Samantha Traynor is kind of a riot. Anyway Thane's one of the more interesting male characters all clothing aside.

Big fan of sexy designs. Which is not always the same as stripping down or painting on clothes. My biggest problem with characters like Jack or Miranda is that you have nowhere to go from there. The scene with Traynor in Citadel is hot precisely because she spends 99% of the time wearing the Alliance regulation uniform.

Yeah its not a great design, but it beats her default from 2 and her Loyalty outfit, and her DLC outfit. Plus if you stop to think about it. Jack fully trussed up in a uniform with her authority issues? I see her outfit and some changes in character being an effort of her to meet halfway. She sticks to being herself in company she knows its proper for, and follows some instruction when around the students so that they dont pick up on all her bad habits. Her ME3 outfit being a more obvious halfway point since she still wears as much as she feels she needs to, but has a bit more modesty in her appearance than before.

i didn't consider jack sexy, tho. i just liked her style. it did not offend me. it seemed to fit w/her char. rebellious. pushing boundaries; not caring or maybe even hoping it offends others. or makes them uncomfortable.

I liked the character but thought her outfit didn't fit with her myself. Something like say her ME3 fits the rebel type.

that scene w/Traynor in Citadel just made my straight femshep think, "note to self--stop letting traynor use your bathroom facilities."

i don't think so. i mean it was an alright outfit in me3, but she  did get a boob job in me3 for reasons that i don't understand.

so while what clothes they wear don't really bother me, things like gratuitous azz shots and boob jobs----and whatever traynor is supposed to be doing in the citdel dlc in your hot tub---that bothers me.

Oh I get what your saying since Shepard also got the boob job which is a big disrespect to her character. The Traynor scene was off putting for me as well I was like, why wear your uniform in the shower?

@Ryriena I like your Siggy quote. I enjoyed talking to Bakara. and I remembered that scene when I did the high ems destroy ending...abt using that crystal rock thing and clawing your way out of the darkness. that convo was a nice touch.

Thanks, I liked the talk as well and is in my signature. I took it as a replay of Plato's the cave of a small grain of light can give us knowledge. I thought it was a nice touch too.

I just have them wear the alternate armor pack that I got for ME2 characters.
