"Wait, so we're agreeing that you made a mildly hypocritical comment based on a lack of information..."
<> No we aren't agreeing on this point, because your suggestion that the items displayed possibly being concept art is invalid. Thus, there was no lack of information and nothing hypocritical about anything I said. I gave my opinion about what I saw. Nothing more. You know, I don't mind being called out if you're going to make a valid case, but you haven't and show no inclination to do so. That you continue trying to make a point in spite of this suggests to me that you're more concerned with being right, than you are with discussing the issue. Quite honestly, I'm done with this diatribe because I don't appreciate your disingenuous civility that tries to cover yet another swipe. First you suggest that I'm "a little silly, presumptive and judgmental", and now I'm "mildly hypocritical"... Irony much?
Having said all the above, I will agree with you on one point, this medium isn't the best in regards to not creating misunderstandings. I think we'd have been better off with "agreeing to disagree" and move on... As I am.
And isn't simply nitpicking what people are saying and assuming hostility (or feigned civility) also demonstrating that you're being more concerned as who is right, than simply continuing with the topic's discussion as we have all been trying to do? This is devolving into simply us both arguing about and trying to get the last word about how we'd both rather not continue this pointless meander from the topic! ![]()
But you're right, it's best to agree to disagree and move on, friend! And I apologise if you believed me to be insincere or attacking you personally earlier, I was simply questioning the wording you used. ![]()
Back to the original topic;
As someone pointed several posts back, I wonder if we will be able to go along a more "dark side" route? The Inquisition surely could go along that path if we so desire and I wonder if we'll be able to have specific gear (nothing overtly villainous) that might reflect that change in our alignment, or whether the game will remain morally grey?
As for me, I like the DLC's shown, and since I've already pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, I'm even happier^^ I remember when I first heard about a unicorn, I told my friend: "Please don't let it be a typical Unicorn." I'm actually really happy with the Bog Unicorn, the sword through the head is a nice twist to it^^ Dunno if I'll be using it often though, since I'd mostly play on a 'good' path, you know saving the world and sh*t^^
The Throne: Okay, I admit, I did not see that one coming... I imagined a normal throne with a dragon motiv, but the longer I look at it, the more details I see that I find interesting... All in all, it's not so bad (least not to me^^)
The Armor and Weapons: Hell, I always liked me some flaming swords, and I think the dragon wing is a nice turn on the typical shield. The armor, well, that's a different thing... It does look really jagged and sharpened on the edges, but then again, Fenris armor was also mostly compiled of spikes and it worked. The Hawke armour wasn't much better either and still it looked good. I'll have to wait to render judgement on that. I do hope that the helmet is optional though, since I absolutely dislike the helmet.
The Armoured Mount: Heavily armoured horses, what more could a warrior want^^ Totally will be using that one *gg* As for the other horses, I agree with a comment made a while back, that I hope that the horses available will not be generic brown... I kind of wanted a fully black horse, something heavy and intimidating *gg*
The Halla: *sigh* Some people might like it, but its not my thing, sorry fans... I'm afraid the Halla will stay in the stables...
Well, there you go, that's my opinion on it... You're certainly welcome to disagreee with me, but since it's my personal opinion, it won't change no matter what you say
<- Careful: Sarkasm! *gg*
Regards, CarrionFowl
I don't really care for much of it except the armor, The horse armor is cool to but I wont be using since it would seem a bit out of place for my rogue.
I'd only like the throne if we don't have a throne in the default game.
Armor looks badass.
My god that throne is hideous. It's almost mesmerizing in the sheer amount of ugly.
Why, thank you!
