2014 the year of delays and cancellings.
Going to be a very slow year for gaming if this keeps up.

2014- "That's 2015's problem."
2014- "That's 2015's problem."
Unless 2015 decides to make it 2016's problem and so on.
That Destiny footage was boring.
And I wasn't interested in Last Guardian anyway.
But moar news! Gimmie moar!
Dragon Age: Inquisition and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor are the only two games at E3 that interest me.
One of the 100% guaranteed best games of this year:

I am and it's not cancelled - The information was false. As usual IGN dun goofed.
What IGN had false information? Shock horror. That's never happened before.
Just had a look on google your right thanks for the update.I am and it's not cancelled - The information was false. As usual IGN dun goofed.
Why going to IGN to watch gaming stuff when there is Gamespot?
Although not much stuff there yet.
Thanks for the update. I normally actively avoid IGN at this point.

I'm not even remotely interested in DA:I. Unless it's near-unanimous that it's one of the greatest games ever, which I doubt will be the case, I will pass on it. DA2 wrecked the franchise and Bioware beyond repair, AFAIC.
I'm still interesting in Inquisition, but I'm not picking it up because I want to see how it gets handled by the community. I'm still interesting in seeing more news from it.
I'm just hoping to see some kick ass new IP's, but I doubt it... and I'm really hoping that they stop with the whole "on next gen and current gen" mindset they have currently. I understand it, but I just feel it's making things more complicated than it should be. Hopefully that will die out in the next year or so.
So, I've recently been checking out the E3 schedule on Spike TV's website and trying to find out where I can watch the shows I want to see. I'm most interested in the Sony conference, but it seems they won't be showing that one on TV. I should be able to watch it on Game Informer's website, but I'd also like to watch the early show that has Shadow of Mordor and Jack Tretton's commentary, and I don't see that listed on the TV guide. Anyone know where I would be able to watch it? Spike says it's available on apps, but I don't have any of those.
And if anyone knows when the rumored Dishonored news would be most likely to show, that would be great too.

They won't stop with the two gen things until the XB1 and the PS4 proliferate more.
Aye, it wouldn't be profitable to go current gen only this early in the console lifespan.
It's a catch 22. Companies don't want to make games for them until people move over and nobody will move over until there are more games.
I understand that, I just don't agree with it in relation to creating certain IP's and such.
This is easily the clumsiest and tamest generation transition in video game history. In previous transitions, gaming companies made it clear they were moving on with or without you. But now it's like gaming companies are afraid to take risks for whatever reason.
(Not that I can blame them too much though. None of the current gen consoles inspire the confidence and that assertive next step forward that previous gens did when they were new.)

I'm not sure I follow. What do yo u mean "creating certain IPs"?

Yep, that is how I feel as well.

To be fair, I definitely won't be getting a Wii U if the next Metroid is available for Wii.

Video Games realm has been full of fails recently, but in general I prefer to have sequels or new games in my favorite franchises to experience something unknown. Suffice to say they shouldn't be released yearly unless they're FIFA!
It's already E3 day here in Brazil.

Same case down here in New Zealand.
