Interesting.
Still, slightly ironic that Preistly posted that. Not because he was an EA employee and who worked for Bioware on DA2 (the game poked at during the rant), but that his role as a Community Manager was likely part of a game's PR/advertising budget, which CDProjekt has done on bare bones in their attempt to stay lean.
Still, a good read with good points - the gaming industry is constantly seeking to increase revenue while decreasing costs at the expense of the gamer's experience, but then covering it up with millions spent in advertising. Which, unfortunately, seems to work remarkably well on us gamers, so who are we really blaming?
