Notice that MS spent no time going over Kinect in any direct way.

I didn't even see the conference and I noticed that. Or, at least, noticed it by the lack of omission of people posting sarcastic comments about some new, obtuse, non-sensical feature MS was trying to promote with it.

Know when to abandon a sinking ship, I say. If people haven't hopped onto the feature in 2+ years, nothing you say at a conference will change that unless you have something TRULY ground breaking.

Kinect isn't sinking, especially given Kinect 2.0, far more useful than the first iteration, isn't even a year old.

Yes, but they have pulled it off of base models, meaning developers (who were already not showing up in droves to highly incorporate the device) are less likely to use it.

It may work great, but it still hasn't made penetration to the greater public mindset, nor in the importance for developers to use.

I'm not knocking the device, but they lost/are losing the public perception campaign on its usefulness.

BTW if that remastered version is that good, I may get it for PC.

I think its just that its REALLY hard to convince people of its usefulness unless you have one, and that is a hard bargain. "Buy it and find out!"

The remastered engine looks damned good. For those who never played the original and want an xbox, that's practically a must-buy. Ori looks good, reminds me a bit of Dust: An Elysian Tail and pretty much anything hayao miyasaki worked on. Eh, I personally don't touch Assassins Creed anymore. The intrigue and mystery of that storyline kinda sputtered out for me around the second one.

For the record, Mirror's Edge 2 prototype looks perfect. If they can add a meaningful storyline to the game and spice up the variety of options via level design, it'll be one of the top games for the next generation.

The Halo collection is absolutely gonna bring folks to X1, and rightfully so. Halo is a powerful franchise for a reason.

I like the first AC (because it was related to the original/real assassins), then skipped all till I got AC 4 which is good but not much enjoyable with my current old graphic card. Next AC looks interesting too.

The Ezio Trilogy is worth it(AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations). AC3 can be skipped.
