I'm expecting more on Sunset Overdrive

Sunset overdrive is what could sell me an XB1. It's like dreamworks meets mutant apocalypse. The trailer looked amazing but it was only CG.

Yep helped me find the trailers too. Everyone was freaking out last year I don't think this year can top it. Unless half life 3 turns up.

I don't believe this year's coverage will top last year's purely because last year involved the next gen consoles' first releases and teases.

 

Still, I imagine it'll be pretty big. We'll see. The thread will pick up the pace the closer we get to June 10th.

Transistor Trailer

I'll admit, that was one hell of a trailer. The gameplay looks similar to bastion, but just about everything else has gotten flipped, turned upside-down. Love the visual effects they have for the new combat, and the story looks like it's also going to be a not-so-black-and-white sort of deal. They've got my attention, dawg.

It'll take something special. The xbox live party I was in was literally screaming when Star Wars: Battlefront came up.

Funny how Assassin's Creed gets all the hate for a title once every year, but the Arkham series doesn't.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing more of AC: Unity and Comet. Bring it, haters.

To be fair, AC games are made by different teams under the same umbrella so each game has a several year dev cycle.

I know, right? Even though Arkham Origins got released only one year after Arkham City, it got absolutely no hate at all. It's mind-boggling.

 

Wasn't it two years though, between City and Origins.

I think sometimes people forget you don't have to pick up every game that ever comes out.

Sunset Overdrive looks to be the best new IP for retail games. Slick animation combined with the insanity of SR3, open world traversal of inFamous(or even Jet Grind Radio), that's a really strong formula.

Transistor looks damned good. Apparently it's got slight Pause-And-Play now? A bit like Fire emblem or FFT where your walking eats up certain action points, though they regenerate over time(in real time).
