I bought a Japanese 64 GB for 109 us$, so might be quite different.

On Amazon, it says a 32GB memory card normally costs $100 ( can be purchased from the site for $70.07). I'm not too knowledgable about the pricing, as I don't have enough games on the Vita to need to look for another memory card (plus mine came with an extra 2GB).

Better than the giant spam of Sports sports and moar sports

Since EASports makes up a SIZEABLE portion of EA's sales portfolio, it shouldn't be surprising that they are featured heavily at events like E3.

Then again, just because EA makes lots of sales from sports games, does that make E3 the best place to show them? E3 is for the industry nerds and game fanatics, of which I RARELY see hardcore sports fans. It is like going to a culinary convention and having them showcase nothing but McDonald's. Sure - McDonald's makes more money in the food industry than anyone else, but does that make it the best topic to discuss at a culinary convention?

Don't mind me, I'm just musing.

Well, it's not surprising it's a bit cheaper in the US, but the Memory Card is still too expensive, regardless.

When else is EA gonna do it? It doesn't appeal to me, but I don't blame them.

This reminds me, I've got to plan and line up what I want to get. I can't afford much at the moment.

Trading in my old 3DS now that I have an XL to cover the vita, but yeah. Otherwise in the same boat.

Just don't bother. Everyone knows what to expect.  :P

That reminds me, I have a 3DS XL and a DS Lite. Perhaps I should get something for the latter.

All Sony had to do was use either MicroSD or M2 Memory stick and the Vita would be way more appealing.

At the Madden release events they do? That's when Madden fans show up in droves. Or, you know, release day. I know a bunch of friends who play sports games. And none of the are even aware E3 is going on now unless I remind them.

Then again, anecdotal evidence and whatnot...

There's more than Madden for them though. NHL, FIFA, NBA, the list goes on.

I think that might be pretty close to the end of the list, actually. Throw in a struggling UFC franchise. And with Tiger Woods going out, there's no heir apparent on the golf front... maybe MLB?

Quite a few when you think about it. Thats what five at the least?

No doubt. Five game IPs that you can not only put out a title for every year, but can bank on millions of purchases with much smaller investment... I can see the appeal.

Still not sure that E3 is the best venue to showcase them. It isn't a surprise - a new sports season starts, a new sports game is going to come. How much change can you really do to a product in such an abbreviated time frame that would be worth its own reveal show?

Anyway, I'm just rambling now. EA has a huge sports section, they have a huge chunk of their E3 presentation as sports. Nothing really to complain about.

Really, its just that we're not the target demographic. I used to be though.

I grew up hearing "EA SPORTS, TO THE GAME"

I did too. And I still play occasionally. But I've never seen the target demo represented at E3.

But hey, what do I know?

I love Madden and FIFA but I don't see why they have to show it every year at the conference if there's not a major improvement from the last version.

Probably just to get people talking about it. I'm with you, it'd be best to bring them up with major new developments.

Opening with Peter Dinklage.

I'll take that.
