I'm not sure I like this new Far Cry 4 style.

 

The setting does not look intimidating and can't match the savagery of a jungle. I hope it goes into some real dark territory and also touch on themes such as human descent into savagery, mortality stuff.

I'm just glad Uncharted 4 is coming to PS4. So, I got a reason to own one. Now, all I need from SONY are:

 

Release date for Planetside 2. 

 

a Ratchet and Clank game. 

 

God or War. 

 

 

And that's about it really. So.. Sony is about 1/4 way there. But still..... Where are YOUR games SONY??? YOUR games?? Not Multiplats like Destiny and BattleField.

I love Madden and FIFA but I don't see why they have to show it every year at the conference if there's not a major improvement from the last version.

 

There will be a major improvement in Fifa this year:

People in the DA forums are upset about the timed content, given how MS is competing against Sony its not surprising that Sony did something similar with Destiny. Which is unfortunately how game development works these days.

I don't know why they're surprised. I don't complain because PS3 and PS4 owners get special content for Arkham games while on 360 and X1 I didn't/won't.

 

Same goes for CoD privileges for Microsoft, Battlefield privileges for Sony. This is not something new.

 

In the case of Inquisition, it seems Microsoft wins out with what, a timed exclusive for the first, and only first, downloadable content pack?

 

It isn't that big a deal. Maybe I feel that way because I have a 360 and X1 but I feel like if that were the case for PS3 and PS4 I'd just shrug my shoulders and wait patiently for when I get it.

^tbh I think people would have gotten used to such things by now, time exclusive and exclusive content deals are common now (imo isn't a good thing).

Dat Arkham Knight Gameplay, knocked me of my socks! Best gameplay trailer in my opinion shown at E3. And Uncharted 4, yay! Was relieved this will be the final entry for Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series. Was a bit afraid Naughty Dog would turn it into a another trilogy or something.

Sony Conference impressed me more than Microsoft. Think I'm leaning on PS4 even more (sorry Prince).

Neither. Its all subjective. According to the four people in my room(me, two stepbrothers, and a mutual friend of ours), Microsoft got the upper hand on Sony tonight, and thats coming from three folks who are not biased, and one who is biased-towards Sony.

 

But, on another day, with other showings, the opposite would likely be possible. In truth, the Xbox One and PS4 are the same. Both just different vehicles for us to drive our games down some good ol highways with rolled down windows and wind through our hair. Same model, different body kits.

 

And thats okay. As long as we all get to enjoy our games in peace and enjoy the good times with each other, s'all good.
