I've never played Halo so this collection for the X1 is very tempting.

But besides that I didn't see nothing in this E3 that made my mind of buying a PS4 or X1 this year since almost every major game that will be released this year will be on PC too.

When the exclusives start rolling out I'll make up my mind.

Might just get Second Son for that Laura Bailey DLC alone.

Wait.... No no, Wait.

Did you say you've NEVER played HALO?!?!?

I'm not making fun of you.

But I am legitimately shocked.

HALO IS ONE OF THE GREATEST SERIES (IF NOT  THE BEST) IN VIDEO GAME HISTORY. IT IS A MUST PLAY SERIES FOR ANY GAMER.

Seriously bro. HALO 2 is probably the greatest console FPS of all time, and right up there with CS 1.6, Rainbow Six Raven Shield as the best competitive FPS ever made.

And That's just ONE of the HALO games. HALO CE is amazing. So is 3. HALO 4 is probably, I guess you could say, the "weakest" out of the lot. But it's still GREAT.

Yeah. Must own/buy for you. Period. End of story.

Ok, finally something surprising from E3: Grim Fandando remastered! I have it on PC, but I'll certainly buy it again. Possibly more than once.

Arkham Knight looks good, so does Assassin's Creed (I might buy it for graphics alone), The Witcher 3 looks amazing and I'd like to see more of Inquisition.

What I gather so far from the conference: PC gaming's future looks great, I might buy a PS4 when Uncharted 4 gets released, Quantum Break is still the only interesting game for me on Xbox One and I'll keep hoping that it'll get a PC release.

I can go one step further. I've played it and found it boring as hell.

I can totally agree. I had to play Halo 1 and Halo 3 with my brother, because he wanted someone to finish the game on Legendary with. My god, what terrible boredom.

But I will say that Halo is better than Gears of War (I refused to play 2&3 with my brother, the first one was enough). At least Halo didn't have the cover system and it seemed to have a better story.

While the game play is mediocre, I certainly respect halo's lore. While the in-game story consists mostly of the heroic master chief stomped the big bad aliens, the lore is absolutely amazing even up against the like of dark souls or mass effect lore.

Gameplay is good enough to revolutionize FPS and be a staple of Esports (along side CS) since 2005.

So.... Yeah. I think the gameplay is just fine.

The lore is good I guess, but you need to read the books and stuff to get most of it. The games are just a small segment.

And HALO has always been about the gunplay and shooting other dudes in the face.

HALO's Holy Trinity-

Frag, Melee, Headshots. **I guess we could add power weapons in there. I guess.

Has worked well since 2001. I don't see them deviating form that formula too much.

HALO is amazing. In terms of raw gun on gun action. It is only second to CS. And barely at that.

All the casual derptard "First Person "shooters" like CoD and BattleField, could learn a lot from HALO. A lot.

#HALO forever

Yes, I've heard that it's very good, unfortunately the games didn't make me want to explore it. My brother really loves the universe, though.

Yeah it was revolutionary. In 2001 and it's barely budged and inch since then. I'm going to quote zero punctuation on this one "If this is combat evolved, then it is an evolutionary dead end"

I like shooter games that have great campaigns. In COD series: COD II, WaW, MW1 and BO2.

Oh my, somehow I missed the announcement of Bloodborne (the rumoured Project Beast) from From Software. I'll definitely buy a PS4 for this.

The trailer showed pretty much nothing and I still want it  :P

Day one was kind of underwhelming for me. The Witcher Wild Hunt and Inquisition are the two games I'm legitimately excited for, but then that was the case before E3. No Mans Land continues to look promising, Inside is now on my radar and Grim Fandango was a nice little surprise, but that's it really. As a Sony guy, Destiny is of zero interest to me and The Order: 1886 continues to disappoint.

A Last Guardian reveal would have been nice!

I've found E3 disappointing too. Nothing really interested me be besides stuff I already knew about.

I'm not sure if I ever was surprised by anything from E3 in the past. I usually look / read just to find more info about games I'm already excited or interested about.

But Grim Fandango Remastered was a great surprise. Even if they didn't show a single image. Just the thought is enough to get me seriously excited.

I can't wait to buy it again. This will finally convince my brother to play it. He loves Full Throttle and Monkey Island, but he doesn't want to play with a keyboard and mouse...

Keyboard and mouse... did Full Throttle and Monkey Island come out on consoles at some point?

2. Assassin's Creed Unity

3. Far Cry 4

4. Dragon Age Inquisition

5. Arkham Knight

I know that the Nintendo Direct starts at 11:30 AM.

(Although that probably depends on where you live).
