This is a bad mindset as this is what killed Sega.

Everyone's finding something they're interested in. The winners are the gamers. In my case, Nintendo's not really my cup of tea, but I recognize that they make great games that other folks love. Its a beautiful thing, making people happy. Regardless of the presentation.

I wouldn't say its less effort. Its a different style though.

 

Also, Nintendo has a certain tone about it, while the rest are more varied, so if Nintendo's your kind of thing, its more likely you'll enjoy most of what they present compared to the rest, which want to have something for everyone.

Nintendo is an undead, unkillable serial killer of a company. It's like taking Jason, Freddy and Michael Meyers, merging them into one super company, giving it a shot of steroids and letting it throw turtle shells from animated go karts. It can't be stopped. It can't be killed. Anyone who thinks they have done so is mere seconds away from being hacked in half by a Triforce when the music dies down.
