No, he becomes CD-i Link.*shudders*
Or, in a reverse Sheik, it turns out that "Princess Zelda" is actually Link in drag.

I wonder why Microsoft doesn't release Halo for the PC.
...
Hell, why Microsoft doesn't go the extra yards and developes an XBox'ish OS you can install on your PC through which you can play XBox games if you plug an XBox controller to your PC is a question I've asked myself for years already. Sales from the OS and the games AND the peripherals. It's a goldmine!

PC specs are too variable to make this practical. (And they want to sell their hardware.)
(I got Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC and found it did not like my video card when I tried to install it. A powerful enough card would have cost me $150 at the time, and even then I had no guarantee my PC would be able to run it. An Xbox also cost $150 at the time, so I bit the bullet and bought one. One thing you can say for consoles, you know they can run the games...)
Considering how games are being ported from console to PC and vice versa, I find the hardware variation on PCs argument rather lackluster.

Good thing you don't code for specs since almost 20 years ago then.

It's a pity that Ubisoft would make such a stupid excuse about adding a female character in their game. I'm a really big fan of Assassin's Creed, but this:
You can find the sexist quotes here:

"It's double the animations, it's double the voices, all that stuff and double the visual assets," Amancio said. "Especially because we have customizable assassins. It was really a lot of extra production work."
"We started, but we had to drop it," St. Andre said. "I cannot speak for the future of the brand, but it was dear to the production team, so you can expect that it will happen eventually in the brand."
Lemmings touch for PS vita looks good.
And a video on the titanfall updates.
More Destiny...

Bioware won Gamespot's Best of E3 award for Inquisition

Great review given to them as well; written from one that was a somewhat disappointed with the previous game.
I'm not a fan of Dragon Age but I hope they put out a really good game to recover some ground lost in the past few years.
To be fair, it doesn't take much to look or sound better than DA2.
I think I'll buy new Metal Gear game coming out. It's the tone that's a seller for me.

Ouch.
Ouch.
Thats my bias against the game talking. If its not bias however, its just my criticisms of it showing.
4 distinct characters and all of them are generic white dudes.
so you're telling me this is the game to play if i want to be a white dude?
excellent.

It's their choice to make. I'd love to play a female assassin too, but the more you guys sling this sexist accusation around the less weight it carries.

doesn't look very good. Uninterested.

So this is the real MGS game they were making when they pushed out that 2 hour campaign a while ago, I take it?

Basically.

Agree. I don't see it as inherently sexist. It IS extra resources. And while the former Ubisoft animator says it would only take a few days to do, that's irrelevant. Because it always takes longer to PLAN than to do. He talks about how animations from other charaters were shared or assigned... it is someone's role not to just hook all of those animations up, but to review, compare and contrast the animations that look best with the models in play and make the decisions about how to apply them (outside of the straightforward work of applying them).
And that's just animation. In addition, voice over is not cheap work, to either create or to QC. Not to mention you increase your budget for each language of the game you release it in (and AC is a very popular series internationally) and it becomes more than an animator's testament that he could hook up the required strings in a rather short amount of time. I'd like to see if he would say that when its crunch time, he and his team are swamped and he is given the mandate to devote two full days to something that wasn't previously in his workflow to complete if such a "small" thing would be doable.
That being said, it would be sweet to see some females in Assassin's Creed. I mean, who doesn't want to see some of this?

I wonder why Microsoft doesn't release Halo for the PC. I get the console promotion/exclusivity idea well enough, but to me it's just looking like a giant money cow that's bursting with Dollar milk and really, really wants to get milked.
Hell, even I'd grab a Halo for PC just to see what all the fuzz around this franchise is about and chance is I may like it and buy more titles if they brought it out for PC.
If Microsoft actually wanted to make money, they could make it a Windows 8 exclusive.
