Ok, this is the second major gaming forum site where I have this problem.

HEY!  Website Programmers!  FF and Chrome and Safari are NOT the most used browsers on the planet.  It's still IE, and more and more IE users are on IE10 or IE11.

Get your act(s) together and code for IE first, (which, by the way, is more HTML5 compiant that the others anyway).

Here's what happens when one clicks the "insert url" button when using the forums with IE11:

Oh, and basically the same thing happens when trying to insert an image url as well!

The only way to move forward is to close the browser window completely, losing everything one has already entered up to the point of wanting to add a link.  :o  :pinched:  :(

Com'on!  This isn't rocket science.

Don't rely on framework shortcuts.  Build a site that actually works when the client browser is compliant with the standard.  B)

For this site in particular we have below 10% of users running any version of IE. Chrome is winning the browser battle here by about double any other browser but I believe those stats combine mobile and desktop.

The editor is part of the forum software and in turn the bug is with the a 3rd party editor they use. It is on our list of things to look at but isn't at the top.
