I always have him as King and occasionally drunk, so King. Though this time I want Anora seen too since I have her as Queen.

He'll probably be king with Queen Anora my first pt.

My first import might be Circle Mage Warden with the 'free Ferelden Circle' boon so I'm curious to see how that's going in Ferelden and if Alistair is still involved with the mage/templar thing.  Well, and Anora too...I hope we see her and find out her opinions on all this.

I guess another character brought magically to life? lol,you can also exile him or kill him.

In my playthrough he is hardened and ruling with Anora.

Alistair is the king and married to Anora (reluctantly). I forgave loghain but he died doing the ultimate sacrifice. In my canon Alistair eventually forgives and understands my wardens decision to save loghain. Oh and Alistair is hardened

A drunkard. We may even find him in Redcliffe trying to "start again".

I like both endings for him. It depends on if I wanted my warden to die (I let him be a gray warden instead of forcing him to be king) Or if I don't (I harden him and marry him to Anora and let loghain die in my place)

I let Anora execute Alistair, and even if I decide to let him live in a future playthrough, he will be banished.

I'm one of the few people who don't think Loghain is evil, so I spare him. Alistair throw a pissy fist and run away. Go away, you brat. The guy who has no spine to lead despite being the senpai of the group now grow some pokeballs and making demands? He should be lucky that I didn't kill him on the spot.

I agree that Loghain is not evil, he is one of Ferelden's greatest ever heroes, what he did at Ostagar was strategically prudent, even the member of Cailan's honour guard called Elric Maraigne said that the Darkspawn were too many (and that Cailan knew it), so the only thing Loghain would have accomplished by charging the Darkspawn would be to lose Ferelden's most elite fighting force (Maric's Shield) to the Blight, and it's greatest general as well if he had gotten killed in the battle.

What Loghain  did at Ostagar probably have somthing to do with the letters between Celene and Cailan.

Cailan was ready to sell ferelden to the empress

I want drunk Alistair to have a more significant role. He was drunk in DA2 but TeaGAAAAaaN took him back to Fereldan to help him out. What's happened to him since then? Is he now a wandering knight or back in the Grey Wardens? Perhaps he still has a drinking problem though.

Well, he married my Cousland Warden and became king, so he's going to be a king in my game - heh.

Warden, always. I personally think they both make great leaders, the only difference is one wants to be ruler and the other doesn't (unless you have a hardened Alistair but I never do). I'm a sucker when it comes to Alistair's happiness. All he had to do was make those big puppy eyes and he could've had whatever he wanted. Just so happens that he wanted Anora to be Queen and well, here we are.

Not in my version. I hated Allistair and always had his butt executed.

Why don't you harden him? Wandering around with naive child-like innocence at his age is simply foolish. He needs to be taught the world sucks and can be unfair. I plan to do just that with Cole if he acts in a similar fashion.

I think his innocence and naivety is something precious that should be valued. There aren't many people like that left in this day and age. I definitely don't want to take that away by making him hardened. It's just my personal thoughts, but I'm certainly aware of other people's stances on it. Though, while I respect their opinions, have just never been able to do it myself.

Except for one game (where he is Grey Warden along my Surana), Alistair is king of Ferelden, usually married to Anora (one game as sole ruler, for mistress ending). So likelihood meeting him as roaylty is rather great (would be nice to see Anora too, if only sake of variaty).

Currently, that is. I do have 4 planned games yet to go through. He won't end up executed or drunk in them though, that's for sure, since they are far too sad destiny for him IMO. Though  he might end up having living Loghain as father-in-law...

Alistair was incredibly obnoxious as a Grey Warden. He had a good heart, but he was just not cut out for the job. As King of Ferelden? He's absolutely hilarious. I'd prefer he be the king as the Warden doesn't have a voice and likely wouldn't show, and I was not a fan of Anora.

King Alistair for sure. He is a great character, my favourite after Morrigan. So he's King in all my playthroughs, except for the one where he sacrificed himself.

Looking forward to seeing him again!
