Thanks guys! I don't expect much in the way of updates for a week or two (other than a few Location Reveals). But once E3 hits (June 10), I expect a huge update.

I imagine we will start seeing character info very soon.  I imagine that with E3 coming up, once they get the environment reveals out of the wya, and since the game is finished, hopefully we will see major information about the companions.

"Red Hart Halla" was apparently a mistake in the original marketing. Calling it just "Red Hart" is accurate.

 

Which makes sense, imo, since that thing doesn't look like a halla to me, anyway. lol

Yes, as mentioned, it's not actually a Halla. It's a Red Hart. That was a mistake on the promo information.

 

A Hart is just another word for "stag" (or adult male deer). Since Halla are basically deer also, I'm not sure why the bothered correcting it. But it is what it is: Red Hart.

I think its cus, while halla are very similar to deer, they aren't deer. That red hart has the same antlers as a deer would have, and probably is just a striped species of deer (escaped from the Princess Mononoke movie lol). Halla, at least the ones I saw in DA:O, have a different anatomy to their antlers. Its like how leopards and jaguars are both big, spotted cats, but still different species.

 

Also, Maclimes, can we stick that pic of the preorder bonuses, as well as maybe the flames of inquisition pics from that article, on the first post in the preorder bonuses section? Maybe under a spoiler tag if length is an issue. I am sure ppl would want to see what the bog unicorn, etc looks like.

That truly is an epic throne lol. And I love the mounts. That unicorn is hardcore and can you imagine how big that Red Hart is? It looks like it'll be enormous. So glad I'll be getting the Deluxe Edition.

I agree. I thought the same thing about the bog "unicorn". It does really look like it has a sword hilt sticking out of its chin and the "horn" is so long and shaped like a sword on closer look. What's up with that?

That throne looks ugly. I hope if I pre-order the deluxe edition, I have an option to have the original throne.

The bog unicorn is an undead mount, so yes it has a sword stuck thru it's head.
