This forum is for fans of Dragon Age: Origins to discuss elements of the game that may in some way spoil the game for other players.

It is permitted to discuss the story, dialog, outcomes, endings and so forth for Dragon Age here.

If you do not want to risk reading these spoilers DO NOT read in this forum. You do so at your own risk.

Currently this forum is open to all. Once Dragon Age: origins has shipped, we will be restricting posting in this forum to registered game owners.

Ok, won´t look into it again, until i finished the game ;)

But maybe spoilerfree headlines would be nice, since they appear at the forum overview.

Ditto! Now there's no reason someone with giddy loose lips will spill it into the other forum. Deep down inside, Chris is just trying to protect us! <3

The old forums always needed this section. I appreciate its inclusion here.

ohh, I liked the idea of closed forum for those who aren't registered

I'll probably get the game only in december or so, and the forums being closed will help me trying to avoid major story spoilers.

nice news :D

As per usual Bioware methods, that would be registering your game with your CD key.

You can emulate spoiler tag with text color. Highlight this > Some spoiler text <

As seen here, it's the UPC code on the back. That's how it's always been done, in my experience.

:huh:Well, I'm having a little trouble with the Templar in Denerim who wanted to duel me. I said no, and every time I tried to go to the market place, he ambushes me and kills me so fast, and my party too, I can't figure out why?! lol, He's only a yellow with 3-4 white con buddies--shouldn't be that hard it seems as I've done oranges without much trouble (on easy) and killed two yellows with 2 white buddies without any problem. Anyway I left Denerim for awhile, to ponder the problem, and will go back to try some more, thought I was stuck though till I found the handy little icon at the bottom of the map to let me switch to the world view traveling points:)

Long storyshort, you will become a greywarden, a lot of people will die, you pick up a lot of cool loot and most of the time your inventory will be full. If you happen to play on a console, most of the time you will be looking at a loading screen evertime you open a door. An assasin will try to kill you , sent from a man who is responsible from Duncan's death, your recruiter, and also the King's death.

You and another grey warden venture off to join forces of different races, elves or warewolves, dwarfs with or without golems, humans of course. You will face many choices that can lead to romances. Morrigan is extremely weird but very easy to lay, she is kinky so think Gothic and treat her like that and next thing u know , she will be all over you. You meet a Chantry Women in Lothering who wants your you know what, but she is very hard to sleep with, do not count on it until you kill her old mentor who wants her dead, and also be very nice to her... or u wont get any.

Wynne is an old hagg, if you want romance with her... then .. you are better off wasting your time with wooing Shale, who was once a Female Dwarf.

I'm playing the PC version of Dragon Age, got the collectors edition. Dont know if any of this matters but hey, its good to know i guess.

OK im in ozzamar and i chose to play both sides for as much xp as possible. Now i am having an issue with main quest givers retain the Quest icon over their head but they refuse to talk to me, is this a glitch.

So far i have

1.)Pissed off the guy in the tavern whos wife was the .. p something the "Walking ancient"

2.) Took the notes to both people promised the lands and then after bringing the notes to both people i went to the shapery or w/e and took the notes to him and he is like ok we need to dispatch some kind of party blah blah.

3.) I went and did the proving won it.

4.) Went into the dark roads and found the party from house Dalce there obviously..

5.) I have went from the beginning to the end of ozammar hugging the left wall all the way around and talk to everyone in every area... SO how do i get the people i pissed off to talk to me..

Oh and just for reference i talked to the assembly guy and he keeps saying they are still in gridlock basically and wont allow me passage. I only have 1 area in the deep roads open to me as well. Did i miss something there?

Now I have completed the game *cheers*. Time to create a new character and complete it again. Any tips of which class I should choose?

I completed the game as a Human - Rogue - Noble.
