I just stopped by the medical clinic and found something very interesting. I walked in wondering if Garrus would be there before we talked to Harkin, but he wasn't. So I decided to just chat up Dr. Michel instead. I then asked to see what she had for sale and was blown away to see a Medical Interface VIII. WTF? Shepard is only level 5 but has access to a level VIII mod? Not that I could do anything with it since she wanted 420k credits for it. Yikes! Is Michel's inventory unrelated to Shepard's level?

 

Also, people mention making her your first choice for selling stuff. Is that only after you deal with the blackmailer, or does it work before that mission as well?

She always sells that, so yes, unrelated to level. You'll never see her sell a Medical Exoskeloton X either. (p.s. the interface is level VII. At VIII it turns into an exoskeleton )

 

Only after the blackmailer. Michel is the reason I have never done a game without recruiting Garrus. Can't ignore the piles of money she'll give me.

Why even bother, you get so much money in this game it hardly matters who you sell your stuff to. But I really like Michel, especially that accent.

I like to get my Spectre Weapons as soon as possible. After that, yes, it's rather unnecessary. I still go to her though... and hit the money cap about 3-4 time each game

Aint it the truth. I got Spectre X weapons on everyone and only had to hand out a cloned set once. Then again, second time through the game.

There is a save editor for the 360 version of the game. All it lets you mod is XP and money but that's easier than selling stuff on the Citadel over and over. Just be careful if you don't have the rich achievement unlocked, don't add too much cash and unlock it on Eden Prime.

On the PC I just use the  command console to give myself the Spectre Weapons.

Yeah anyway, deal with the blackmailer first, then buy/sell from her.
