Okay, I removed Dragon Age Origins from my computer because of the sheer amount of space it dumps on in my drive (I have a partition for video games). Origins and DA2 both save to the C drive instead of the drive that Dragon Age is installed to.

DA2 wasn't too bad because it was coded better than Origins, the size of the save game folder for Origins makes me face palm.

Would we be able to get a more compressed save file or something? Or have the save games save to the same directory that we've installed Dragon Age into? This is a really annoying problem to have to think about when you just want to play the game.

DA saves to "your docs" which is determined by your system variables. If you're the sort of person that insists on separate partitions and doesn't like the idea of your windows partition filling up, the first thing you should do is change the location of your docs to another partition.

Wouldn't saving to the install directory set off UAC alerts all the time?

Probably, unless you run the game elevated. All games save to the documents folder though.

Storage is cheap though, if you are running out of space due to DA:O save files I suggest getting a bigger HDD
