The name could be problematic.  I think Jeff Vogel (Spiderweb Software) might object to another RPG being made called Exile Saga, when he's had a long running Exile saga of old-style RPGs himself since the 90s (later remade as the Avernum series).

Well, I don't know if they're aware of those games, but either way, those are just "Exile". I'll let them know, just in case.

Yes, it's not an exact match, and they're two different styles of "old-style" (JRPG realtime combat vs isometric Western turn-based), but there's definitely some potential for lost sales from people searching for one game and finding the other, for instance, especially if a person likes one of those styles and not the other.

Personal preference, but must it always be anime? add to the list of 1.4 gazillion f2p rpgs out there from our bankers in the east. Good luck but I'll pass.

Thanks Arkalezth for posting this for us. I'm Kim and I'm part of the Meraki Games team, developing Exile Saga. For those of you who are interested, we've just released the alpha version of our game as a free, public download. It's still in pretty early stages, but ready enough to let people taste what we're cooking up in our kitchens.
