Anyone else see this bug? PC V1.02 Mage, weapon 1 = staff, weapon 2 = sword. Switching in combat will make the Hero keep the staff in hand but swing it like a 1-handed sword. When my character sheaths the weapon the staff is turned upside down as opposed to the normal way a staff is sheathed which is right side up.

Saving and reloading will cause the model to correctly show a sword but I thought it was pretty cool for a bug so I took some pics of me using a staff to clobber my foes.

Now, how do I put a pic on the forum for you all to see?

I want to beat people with my staff, too!  Like the 'Urn of Sacred Ashes' trailer: it shows Morrigan beating people with hers, and I always think, if only she really did that.

It's a cool bug, but seriously. Needs to be possible in game.

OMG!!!!!!! I thought I saw all of the trailers. THAT was the BEST trailer of any game that I have ever seen!!!

That reminds me of a scene in Neal Stephenson's "Confusion." Bob Shaftoe is getting skewered by an Earl with a rapier he tried to fight with a Schlager's blade. While he's impaled on the ground and thinking he's about to die, one of his relatives comes over and beats on the guy with a staff. All the while commenting on how you don't fight a swordsman on equal teams, you find the biggest tree branch you can and beat him with it.



Punchline: "Earl of Upnor, the finest swordsman in England, beaten to death with a stick in Ireland."
