Maybe it's the internet. Maybe it's traffic. But when I click "get game" I expect something to happen. Be it an error message or be it a loading screen. All I get is the cursor turns into its "processing" form (Sand timer or circle thingy). I am trying to exploit the on house game. I don't even care what it is. I want my free thing. 
I can't buy games on origin.

PvZ - Goty is the current offer.
And are you doing that through the Origin client or via internet browser? I only ever really work Origin through the client and never had any problems. I suppose massive packetloss combined with very slow internet speeds could also cause issues regardless which way you try it but by the point that it really doesn't work whatever you try, it's more like your internet should be just shy of completely breaking down anyway and you'd notice that earlier.

Origin client, but I tried internet origin and they transported me back to the beginning page. The only ever time I have experienced this was on nexus, and nexus is trafficky.

Have you checked with your friends in your area? How is it for them? Maybe it's ISP related.
