it seems that every game the male characters are more valued  :(

:/ .....there's no need to bring that up in here. In the dragon age games the female armor is always equal to the male armor.

NO HEELS AT ALL

Why would you even want to upset your balance in battle ? Bad enough that Vivienne has heels...well you can make a point that mages can get a pass...but for warriors and rogues, NO.

But they worked for Raiden!

I would love enchanted circlets.  They make more sense to me than the hide helmet feature.

When I say ''feminine'' would look something like these illustrations:

You might want to edit your first post and put these examples there, as they give way better idea of what you're after. That way hopefully there'll be no misunderstandings when people see this thread for the first time, read only the opening post and make their responses based on that.

I actually don't need the sexualization at all.  I like the OP's ideas and think they could look great on either gender.  I wold much rather have my mage wear a circlet than a cone on his head, and Duncan wore a "battle skirt."  That said I like both genders wearing similar armor.

Actually, you know, since heels were once useful as equestrian footwear, and we now have horse riding...

What is wrong with wearing a "cone" on your head? :P

I'm all for feminized armor.

As long as the guys have to wear it too.

Personally, I thought most of the armors in DA2 (apart from champion's armor) looked awful because a bunch of the details were just painted on, like random ropes and things, and it just looked tacky. Almost as bad as the PS1/2 era elves just sort standing around the city.

Circlets could be cool, if they can coexist with hair

If the male version of the armor looks decent and the female version looks sexed up, in that sense, I agree that male characters are being "more valued".  However, if the male and female versions look almost identical, except for the proportions to fit the smaller frame of the female model, I don't see how male characters are being "more valued".

Is because in most games the male character are normal, but the female character are sexualized too much or for example the female warrior is too thin for a warrior, the proportions are never normal.

Yes, I am not criticizing the design of the armor, both are very beautiful, but there could be a more special touch just a prettier and more stylish design, not brute and not vulgar.

Yes note, did not need to leave armor reveal for a beutiful design.  ;)

Yes, most games use it to attract attention to gain player, like Tera, Scarlet Blade and etc... or the people make those ridiculous ''nude mods''

What's this thread about again?

It's about female armour.

More heels on the shoes, boots, greaves (without exaggeration)
• Small shoulders, and small hands
• Skirts, or tabards for the middle armors
• Chainmail skirts (Not bikini chainmail)
• Circlets, tiaras for long hairs (so you need not hide your helmet)

Due to misinterpretations, the opening poster has posted some images of what he/she has in mind.

Not necessarily female, my canon M/Warden and M/Hawke are skirt wearing holy badasses.

I wore a skirt throughout DA:O with the templar armour. That + spell resistance bonus in DA:O was a godsent. I never changed out of the Knight Commander armour for one character all the way to the end of Witch Hunt.

Personally I'd like men and women's armor to be pretty identical in Inquisition. Though I would never be opposed to having the option to look more feminine for anyone who wanted to.

Agree. And also I want the option to dress my male character up in sexy gear, too :P Thank you, Dragon's Dogma!

As with any other armor discussion, I see no good reason for it to not be available at least as a customization option. That way those who want it can have it and those who don't want it don't have to have it.

Data budget isn't a good reason? Or are we talking in cornucopia rules?

Vivienne seems to be going with this BUT thats part of her character and persona, she'd prefer to go into battle looking fabulous than wearing armor, she doesnt represent all females in the DA universe. Cassandras attire is perfect in my opinion, gender neutral.

So in other words....

A few battle skirts in the armor customization section is hardly a strain on the budget.
