As for customization options, nothing is so disappointing to me as finding great stat armor and it ending up being frilly, I feel the game is telling me I am supposed to be this way. Also, for me, it is very immersion breaking because the pictures in the OP lack the grit that Dragon Age is known for.
Mages it works for. And I think that is a good middle ground. Mages dont need to be practical. But a warrior showing midriff is a dead warrior. Mages in long dresses, heels shown in the OP, or short skirts that expose the legs just dont make sense and few of the pictures shown have any of the feel of a western RPG. So few games allow any practicality for the women. Let Bioware give us these, and you can have a plethora that say femininity is the best. I dont think it is bad, but dragon Age 2 was the first game where I felt the women were not just given the women armor and made as feminine as possible.
Of course if I am given the option to have a female character of Butchness with rippling muscles and not pretty at all...okay deal. But it doesnt feel in good sport that just starting to equalize masculine/feminine female characters and we need to make them as feminine(or make possible) to be as feminine in any other game, when I have yet to have the option to be as masculine as I prefer.
That said. I am in the vast minority, usually, when it comes to these things, and Bioware would certainly appeal to most people if they gave the women mostly dresses and heels and effeminite armor so perhaps it is unfair to ask otherwise. These forums skew the matter and I do think most people would prefer it.

As I have felt. Many games allow girlyness with a very limited ability to be masculine or practical. Until those games change on that, then I may be, overprotective of my character being portrayed that way.

At least from the sounds of things we can take the appearance of one armor and add it to the stats of another.

I want you to feel feminine and awesome, I just also want to feel masculine and awesome. At most I can be gender neutral and awesome, so an unreasonable part of my mind sees the requests as a loss when it really is more than fair. You can go days without water, but that first drop and you get greedy as sin. Shrug.

I'm a little confused - are you saying you'd like women's armor to look more feminine?
Personally I'd like men and women's armor to be pretty identical in Inquisition. Though I would never be opposed to having the option to look more feminine for anyone who wanted to.
I feel she is applying she does not like the feminie style. and she enjoy how DA would not do that for the main character, how they really give her boots and chain leg aromor, not a skirt or high heels like the asian rpg games

Boob. Plate. Armor.
In the armors defense, at least it doesn't bend towards the sternum.

There's no bellybutton. No chest window. And like Hinata said, they aren't even cups. Looks fine to me.

Boob. Plate. Armor.
What is wrong with boob plate armour? if an armour shape to the body with plastic cushions it would be perfect.

Well, armor transfers the blow across its surface like anything else, and if you have parts where the armor bends towards, like between the two breasts, then all energy will get concentrated there. This can cause a big problem since that's where your sternum, the bone that holds your ribcage together, is located and if that breaks it can cause serious health issues.

Id agree with that assumption, if the boobs were too big to fit in the non boob plate armor, then possibly ok. But then again, those are extremely big to warrant that size. Normally should be able to fit in armor without such boob plates, as there are ... brain died... um... braziers?... sorry, brain died, cant think of what they are to help besides the bra's. I need to google that word. ![]()
um... definitely not braziers
want some hot coal down that chestplate? sure.... ow ow ow ow ow

They can wrap their chests in bandages or cloth to squish the breasts down. This is what a lot of real female warriors did.

Yes they would have to be extremely large bazoongas! In addition a well endowed lady could just wear a flattening sports bra or something! We've all got that one bra that flattens us rather unfortunately... Well, ladies, keep that around for when you need to convince some creep that you can fit into regular armor.

Yes but she is the Kings daughter so she can build the armour to her body measurements so she would be more flexible when fighting.
She can also use pudding to soften the blows so I still see nothing wrong with that image.

Id assume majority women can fit in regular armor to be honest, and would prefer they do so.
If they couldnt get into regular armor and have to run around on a battlefield with less.... I wouldnt really want them on the field, same with men actually. It would defeat the purpose of trying to win that battle if they can be cut down so easily.

The pudding is inside and the armour is on the outside.
