I seriously need to delve into the 2-headed giant scene. Always looks like such a good time but I'm so trapped in the 1v1 mentality that I'm afraid that I'm going to suck.

LOLME3 best co-op game! ![]()
1. Borderlands 2
2. Gears of War 3
3. Star Wars Battlefront 2
Also, Goldeneye, Star Wars Rogue Squadron series, various Super Marios, I could go on... Point is, all better than ME3MP. ![]()
Hmm, ME3 number one co-op game, I must respectfully dis-agree.
Sure it can be fun but there's often just as much bs to accompany that fun.
Couldn't give you a list of my favourite co-op games, too busy trying max my stupid manifest but getting trolled by lvl 4 cryo ammo instead ![]()
I really enjoyed Uncharted 2, played that loads, UC3 is pretty fun too but not as good as UC2.
Clearly you must try Warframe, i think it beat ME3 coop in my eyes, its very close in term of gameplay except you can jump and its more story driven.
P.s. Its made by the mind behind Unreal (all except UT3) aka Digital Extreme.
I couldn't get into warframe. Played it for about 20 hours, without spending money, then put it down.
Although it seemed pretty good at first, I just didn't like the powers and kits, or even guns, in comparison to ME3. I'm a compulsive kit changer to get variety in ME3 gameplay, so warframe in which it is long and difficult to unlock even a second kit, was just not my style of game.
ME3 cops flak for the repetitiveness, and to a certain extent that is true, it could have done with more maps, modes and enemies. But at the same time it had massive variety in game play because it had more than 50 different kits, and most had a reasonable difference from any other kit. Is there any other multiplayer game out there that can claim that?

Borderlands 2 really is fantastic. Play through the whole game and then play the Tiny Tina DLC - some of the best writing/story in a game.
I wouldn't know since ME3MP was my first experience with online co-op...I wasn't going to try it until my son put me down on it...i told him i don't do online because of the jerks that dwell on it, but i tried this MP once and was instantly hooked. There may be other better mp games out there, but for bioware this was a solid first effort.
I like Borderlands pretty well. Entertaining and you can play through with friends through the campaign plus it doesn't lock you down for every second or force you into spectator mode.

Yeah, but you have to play with friends. Unless you want to just watch missions getting ticked off in the corner of the screen by some douchebag who's just going for achievements. Also, joining public games with modded guns = missile glitching. Both of these were also a big problem in Dead Island.
And I can't believe I'm still the only person who mentioned Raid Mode from Resident Evil Revelations.
I'd love Borderlands if the games weren't so absolutely focused on loot.

But... loot!
On a not-so-distant future, you might want to take a look at Evolve (4v1) and Hunt : Horros of the Gilded Age (full co-op). They should be released this fall.
For those who do not think that ME3 is the best co-op game, just ask yourself how many hours you have spent on ME3 as compared to other multi-player games.
1. ME3 (I have more time in this game than probably every game I've ever played. Ever. I just love this universe, man.)
2. Red Dead Redemption. (Sitting around a poker table. Who knew that could be intense?)
3. Transformers: War for or Fall of Cybertron. (Escalation is a lot like ME3 MP but way more dangerous. Getting to wave 15 is mind-boggling hard.)

It's grinding is better to me than the RNG store. After a three month absence from ME3, I wanted to break the disk in half when I went back and had to go into the store. There has to be a better way to buy equipment faster. Take my credits but get me the **** in and out of the store faster.

Irrelevant. I've spent more time masturbating than having sex. ![]()

Time spent doesn't necessarily equal best game. I do think I've made more friends in mass effect than in any other game; the friends have kept me around a lot longer than the horde mode has.

Better point.
