I really enjoyed Uncharted 2, played that loads, UC3 is pretty fun too but not as good as UC2.
I loved UC2 MP. Plunder was my favorite game. Dropping that last treasure into the treasure chest to win the match felt like a great victory.
Haven't touched UC3 MP or The Last of Us MP yet.
Time spent doesn't necessarily equal best game. I do think I've made more friends in mass effect than in any other game; the friends have kept me around a lot longer than the horde mode has.
True, though it is a reliable measure nonetheless.
If we're talking about MP coop, there's basically nothing that beats Minecraft. It's the king, hands down ![]()
FvF Quake Mod - I think that was the first co-op game I ever played; over a LAN networked around the house (my PC, my mum's PC and my brother's PC) when we were home from university... it's probably nostalgia speaking, but I seem to remember that being fully, fully awesome.
In no particular order...
Borderlands 1/2
Dawn Of War II Co-op Campaign (Handling 2 units was sooo much easier to micromanage grenades and whatnot than all 4, very fun.)
L4D
Perfect Dark/Goldeneye
Star Wars Battlefront(s)
Battlefield 1942
I really wish Of Orcs and Men had coop campaign cause that'd be hilariously awesome. Still an awesome game with a good soundtrack.
Also, HOMM3 and MoO2 Hotseat >.> <.<
Mmmm... nostalgia.
Best co-op experience I've ever had was Halo CE on legendary via system link with my university roommate. Streets of Rage 2 on the Mega Drive was also awesome and Double Dragon in the arcades (elbow smash forever)
Ooohhh... forgot Gauntlet Legends.
Off the top of my head In no particular order(if by co-op you just mean being able to play together with friends):
ME3 MP
Borderlands games
Zelda: Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures
Terraria
Starbound
L4D2
Portal 2
GTA V
PAYDAY 2
Minecraft with a crapload of mods like in FTB or Tekkit
Mario Kart Double Dash
Ratchet Deadlocked
Pretty much any of the big-name MMOs(WoW, TOR, GW2, Rift, the new WildStar, etc.)
SW Battlefront 1 and 2
and a bunch more that I have neglected to mention currently.
In no particular order:
ME 3
Borderlands (all of them)
Gears of War (horde and campaign)
RE 6 (only because it was fun to dive onto your character's back and slice at the knees of zombies).
L4D series
That's all I have atm. I'll post again if I think of anymore. Half asleep. ![]()
wow thats really reaching back in time.I miss playing that game.I think I lost the disc for it a long time ago
If a modern version of Stars Wars Battlefront was made and done well... ![]()
I never played, and haven't played since, a game that felt so much like fighting a space war. It never crossed the line of cheapness (Jedi's were powerful, but the way they were implemented nerfed them and made them fair) and it never once got old for one second. Loved those games...
Gears of war for having a beast of a horde mode.
I really can't see ME 3 as the best coop in my list. Best in coop for me would be an extremely difficult horde mode that only teamwork can overcome. Like gears. Now that chit is hard and therefore the best imo
Honorable mention:
Super Contra
I've actually preferred competitive multiplayer games, but the Left 4 Dead series took the crown until I came back to ME3.

I'd say : Killing Floor, TF2 (MvM) and ME3.
No mention for Resistance 2?
That's my second favourite co-op experience
Diablo wins, nothing can tarnish its memory for me
Am definitely enjoying the challenge of gold/platinum on this though
orion: dino horde for 10/10 best co-op game
orion: dino horde for 10/10 best co-op game
I bought that on a Steam sale - played a couple of games; it's stupid as hell but a pretty good chuckle.
I don't play any other multiplayer anymore- the next game with multi that I'm looking forward to is The Division. We'll see.
Super Contra! My man.. good call!
It was no Commando.... ![]()
