With the small number of character classes, you should avoid making the mistake of specializing them too narrow. Warriors being able only to tank or deal extra damage with 2h weapon, melee rogue relying almost exclusively on stealth and backstabs.....If you want variety in melee combat you should read my signature carefully. After all, i believe Bioware are a bit more ambitious than Bound By Flame developers.
I suggest bringing back Dual Wielded Warrior.

This is my first thread i have ever made in this forum.
The thing is, there's been many, many threads asking for that in the past days/weeks/months, some of them still fresh enough to be on couple most recent pages and such. So seeing another just makes people go "ugh, again" at this point, and I'd expect no different reaction from the devs who bother to read the forums.
With the launch just a few months away the game is at the stage where they are removing features that have no chance to be completed and/or polished. Not adding stuff. The dual wielding either is in at this point, or if it isn't, it won't be. It's simply too late to suggest any additions, especially serious/large ones like that.

it is almost a little too late there nearing alpha stage so if it has already been added or they did not do it.

I thought of this but then again they refuse to speak of it. Why keep silence of something that is not present or better yet actually in the game ? Makes no sense.

Becuase they intend to make the announcement at a time and place of their choosing.

Bioware has been very conservative with the marketing for everything when it comes to features in this game, only mentioning things that are as close to locked-down as things get in development (which is "we'll do our absolutely best to get it in, it's a priority").
If dual wielding swords is a deal breaker for you, then you might need to look at a different game.

Here we go again... I'm hoping there isn't dual-wielding warriors in DA:I just to annoy people like you for annoying us with these threads.

OP saved me the trouble of resurrecting an old topic or creating a new one. I wonder if Bioware actually think they are doing themselves a favor by staying silent on the matter....I believe they will just ****** people off and push them away rather than hook them in.
If i am to speak for myself, my patience is over and i am done being ignored. I have been buying their games since Old Republic but when you treat your supporters like ****, you will lose respect. You fooled me once with Dragon Age 2, i am not being the fool for second time.
As a regular customer/buyer of the games i believe it is unbelievable that they state the game enter in Alpha stage, where they begin to CUT things, rather than INCLUDE them and still ignoring a simple quesion for THREE months. And the question being whether there will be dual wielding warriors in the game.....It is not spoiler. It is not a big secret, which should be kept. It is not a major feature. It is not a twist. It is not a revolutionary mechanic......it is not many other things. It is an average feature, every game does nowadays....
With that being said, i am extremely offended by the developer's attitude and beg the mods/admins to delete my account and all my posts on this forum.

Are they staying silent on the matter? I thought this had already been addressed months ago. I believe they confirmed that weapon restrictions are the same as in DA2 (Bows and daggers for rogues; S&S and 2H for warriors; staves for mages) and that within those classes there are no restrictions for companions (Sera can use a bow or daggers if she so wishes). And armor restrictions going back to being based solely on attributes, not classes. However, I could have misinterpreted at the time seeing as no one else has chimed in with this yet.
And yes, seeing this thread AGAIN is somewhat annoying. But about 90% of the threads on this forum are either recycled or redundant, so I don't see what makes this one any different.

You know you can delete your account yourself, right? Or stop visiting the forum? You're not (I'm assuming) under any legal obligation to being an active user on this forum as long as your account is going. Furthermore, all this "cut content" hooplah needs to stop. THINGS GET CUT. It happens in EVERY creative undertaking. J.K. Rowling initially wrote Arthur Weasley dying in OotP. The Killers of Scream 2 were Hallie and Derek. For all we know, the Mona Lisa was originally going to be an ant trying to eat a full plate of spaghetti. When things have deadlines, budgets and limitations such as video games, there is always going to be a ridiculous number of things intended or suggested to be in the game that are not going to ship with it for numerous reasons.

Well they decided to leave so no big loss. I mean there was no one forcing them to pre-order the game. They could've chosen to wait to decide whether or not to purchase DA:I until well after the game was released and entire guides had been written on the combat system. However they've chosen to take offense and will protest by leaving the forum. I say let them go.

Pfft Rogues do it better.
C'mon, Rogues can steal DW but Warriors can't steal Lockpicking?
I don't think warriors appreciate being dual-wielded.
I'd pay to see that.
