My question is why have Garrus be the malien romance for femsheps due to popular demand and fan feedback... AND make a brand new race to fill yet another malien role? Femsheps now have only 2 human options (males now have 4 if you count Kelly as I don't believe she will be available for femsheps) soo, why did they shaft the sisters with two bizarre romance options and one normal... (though one could argue that SuZe is near alien herself, lol)



I would just like to hear a dev comment on this decision, would be interesting, I don't think this will outright ruin my excitement for the game, but it is freaking weird even from a marketing standpoint as they've shown Samara in numerous vids while talking about romance, we know that most male gamers enjoy f/f action, and it would have appeased the players who just wanted a gay romance.. strange decision to say the least...

The only place that BioWare ever checked for fan feedback must have been their own boards. Of course, it's no coincidence that that is where most people are vocal about Garrus, much to the dismay of other female players out there.

It's a shame for those that wanted homosexual relationships, aye. 
But it's quite obvious that BioWare would listen first and foremost to the feedback given on their own boards; I'm sure the feedback previous to Mass Effect 3 will contain a lot of requests for F/F or even M/M relationships. 

I'm just saying that the only place they must have deferred to was their own board. They should have done a sampling of fan reactions and feedback from many different places to get perspectives that were less skewed. By only listening to what's on your board and not branching out..In statistics that's a biased sample and wholly unrepresentative of the actual majority.

They've been quoted many times as saying they looked everywhere. They're just B****es

I am curious to this as well, it'll be interesting if we see feedback of this regard down the road from either a female player perspective, or. oppositely, a male perspective on "only" getting one alien romance, and with a familiar character.

The same thing has been echoed already throughout various threads and such, but I don't see us getting an answer.

While I can understand your frustration, if you really want to change things, I'd advise staying on the boards and being vocal about it.

It probably won't be DLC, but hey, ME3 is being worked on, and being vocal (without being aggressive) about their displeasure worked for the Garrus fans.

I hear ya, but I did once tell Tali that I'd be willing to do aaaaanything for her. I guess I should've added a clause or something when I told her. Oh well. <_<

Lol, in Thanes defense, he is a cool character (to me anyway) but I have no idea why ANYONE would think he's attractive enough to romance, let alone be created for that very reason

The anger is going to be venomous and continual until ME3 comes out..  I'm beginning to think that Bioware = masochists.

BioWare rules once again. They have FINALLY brought reason to hope that their muddied reputation may yet be fixed. If only they could keep this up and and ONLY make proper romances in all their games from now on then they may yet rise to the top of the gaming industry and compete with titans like Halo and MW2WaW in terms of sales but they need to keep up the clean act to get there.

In what way is this reliable information? Somebody could have easily made this picture, and why are 3 people so much bigger in file size, I wouldn't really trust this. But hey, if you do: More power to you.

Upon further thought... I can understand the logic of assuming that those .pcc files correlate to private scenes between Shepard and that character. I don't see anything about those files that says whether MaleShep or FemShep are involved, however. Has there been any trustworthy confirmation about MaleShep options and FemShep options?



Please note, I'm not asking for a video or a link to a video. I don't want to spoil the actual scenes for myself, I'm just looking for confirmation on who can get who.

Hasn't it been seen on those leaked videos or whatever that you can flirt with her as a Female? Plus we just saw that she has a cabin seen. Judging by the size of the files I'd say that even if she isn't "romanceable" she's ....sexable for female shepards. Hopefully

I think a lot of us are going to be bitter about this for a few weeks, especially once we get our hands on the game and the objects of our fictional desire are paraded around in front of us, oblivious. That's going to sting.

I hold it to be well within my rights to be bitter and more than a little envious of the Garrus fans that they got him after all. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for them, but there's that part of me that's kicking her heels and stomping her feet that my FemShep won't be able to romance Joker.

Oh well. I got through the first game with the same sort of disappointment, that the funny, smart-ass helmsmen was all look, no touch, and I'll get through this one. At least this time I'm actually interested in the other options.

Well, they are making ME3 right now, best thing to do is make HUGE MM and FF threads so there will be the possibility for it in ME3. I think Tali was only in because of all the huge Tali threads from ME1 which continued into ME2. So, start your threads ladies and gentlemen, only you can start a revolution!

That or just wait for their next ip or DA2.
