I'm not sure about the rest of you that played mages, but I was one particularly evil mage on my first play through.
I sacrificed Isolde, I allowed Loghain to join the wardens, I convinced the werewolves to slaughter the Dalish... But there was always something nagging the back of my mind, one everpresent thought that never ceased to tickle my roleplaying fancy...
What ever happened to the demon of your harrowing?
The pride demon that promised you a return, that tried to trick you into allowing it to ride into the real world on your shoulders...
Has anyone else wondered about this? I think becoming an 'abomination' would've been a very unique and interesting opportunity for mages in the latter parts of the game.
Thoughts?

I think it meant that mages are always under a constant 'harrowing', since on tiny little slip in something as tiny as lighting a camp fire could result in possession.

interesting thought there but i bet if they did allow you to live they would have just given you blood mage specialization from the boot. Moving away from the path of thought it would be a interesting idea so you could be like flemmeth ( wishing i could become a high dragon with my mage)
