I regret to inform Bioware that I will no longer be purchasing Dragon Age: Inquisition, I have canceled my pre-order and will instead be purchasing a non EA Title. I have given Bioware ample opportunity, up to and including Mass Effect 3, to reconcile our differences as consumer and creator. Unfortunately Bioware has failed to live up to their end of this verbal contract and thus must be punished. Included are a list of grievences that, should Bioware come to their sense and address, may encourage me to rent Dragon Age: Inquisition, but I will not purchase it, for they do not deserve it this time.

 

Grievences

 

• No Rocket-powered El Camino
• Inadequate representation of Orlais. I'm not asking for all of Thedas, but it is perfectly reasonable to expect 110,000 SQKM of Orlais though
• No Sexasomes (Orgy of six). The wordlplay alone makes this an obvious inclusion.
• No Hardcore Survival mechanics complete with Hunger, Thirst, Sleep and Poop thresholds. This is 2014, so a bowel movement minigame is expected

 

 

I feel my list is reasonable, and representative of what most fans expect from a triple-A developer in 2014. Hopefully this will serve as a wake-up call so Bioware can get it right the next time and include the basic features we deserve.
