It might be strange but I like Imekari (A Child) and Kasaanda (Sundew, A Carnivorous Plant) could even combine to and do Talhissra (True-Illusion)
Might have to give more thought on this. Had not really thought of what to name my Fem Qunari Mage.

I'm thinking of calling him something like Goliath, Virtus.or Balatos. If I eventually go with a female I'd name her Galatea.

Not if you use simular horns to the iron bull's. But I'm thinking more along the lines of goat horns. I shall be, The Golden Goat.Is it mean that I am going to name my Qunari characters after cows.
Warrior: Mad Cow
Mage: Holy Cow
Archer: Bull's Eye
Duel Dagger: T-Bone
Female: Bessie McHeifers

Mostly I've been looking at Arabic and Iranian names, which seem to come pretty close to Qunlat (since I think the Qunari concept was derived from ancient Arabic Muslims). There's a lot to choose from, ike "Hassan" (male, handsome), "Sana" (female, brilliance/radiance/dawn), "Karam", (unisex, generosity), or "Qamar" (unisex, moon). Toss some extra As and Ss in there and get something like "Saana Adaar". Usually names frustrate me (because it has to be ~*~perfect~*~), but I'm having fun with this one.

Or names taken from Sumerian/Babylonian mythology like Ereshkigal (goddess of death) Irkalla (the Underworld)
Ninshubur (Queen of the East)
Shala (goddess of war and grain)
Sirara (Goddess of the Persian Gilf)
Siris (Goddess of beer)
Tiamat (primordial Ocean-goddess)
Equally likely I'll make something up that sounds pretty on the day.

I'm not sure, but I'll be following this thread. Some really great names on here. I may end up nicking one or two of them for my Qunari... ![]()

I was gonna go with my default Fem warden/Hawk/Inquisitor name, which is Emma. Maybe since this is a Qunari and I will be playing as a Rogue Archer, I will evolve it to Emma-Fang.

I'm torn between using a Qunlat name like Ashkata (to seek death) for my F!Qunmagequisitor
Or names taken from Sumerian/Babylonian mythology like Ereshkigal (goddess of death) Irkalla (the Underworld)
Ninshubur (Queen of the East)
Shala (goddess of war and grain)

Tiamat (primordial Ocean-goddess)

The same with me.
These were my picks
Aella - Whirlwind, Amazon Warrior.
Bellona - Ancient Roman Goddess of War, or Enyo - Her Greek counterpart.
Ishtar - Ancient Babylonian Goddess of Love and War. Also known as Innana and Astarte.
Nanaya - Ancient Sumarian & Akkadian Goddess of Sensuality and voluptuousness.

Mine's going to be called 'Anjali'.
Since I don't know what a Vashoth would call a child (something meaningful to a Qunari, something human, or something else?), then I'm just going to pick a name I like the sound of. Also, having read up on the name a little, I think it suits both the Inquisitor, and the personality I have in mind for her.

Hannibal for a male, Anisa for a female. And I don't quite know but Poseidon seems like good one for qunari as well.

The Inqunitor's surname is Adaar, which is most likely Qunlat, so our parents are probably qunari. Whether they fled the Qun or were born into a Vashoth society has yet to be established. I'll probably just use a Qunlat word as my name.
This.
