Great. Can I get the model and textures in a 3ds max able format?
No problem. Just let me clean the folder (I tried to make it a single mesh and a single texture file, in order to allow MDB Cloner to work with it, but in the end it's too much work to keep the scale of the leaves and twigs) so the download will only be a .max file and only the relevant .dds and .mdb files (just in case you have scaling issues with the export).
However I'm with the phone at the moment (rainy season? what's sure is that Internet went down just after I posted the pictures of the door in the tree!) so it won't be tonight.
I wasn't sure the "model" category was designed for .max files, so I just left the source in my dropbox (it's only the mesh and the animations, the textures being available on the vault).

Would converting Black Garius' outfit for use on normal NPCs be a difficult task? Has it been done already? It appears to only be a modification to cloth armor 12.
Crown-less liches would probably be a nice addition for the community if anyone has not already done that too. Maybe some alternate helmets or evil-looking crowns from them as well. It is just an idea I thought I would put out there since I think NWN2 Liches look a bit silly.

Sort of, I removed the crown tines, the lich still has a helmet. There is no "head" under the crown, the crown is part of the head model.
I have not looked into this much, but would converting NWN visual effects to NWN2 be difficult? I recall there being a steam effect in sewers in NWN, it could be useful for the Luskan sewers I am building now. I miss UnrealED for things like that, particle emitters are nice.

nwn2 has particle emitters. I wrote a tutorial on them.
I don't believe you can convert the vfx.
Steam room or something I think it's called. Nice vfx but easy to miss because no blueprint exists by default on the toolset.
I was looking for steam coming out of a pipe. I just found some hidden vfx files and looked at the vfx editor again. I guess it does have the capabilities I am looking for, pretty easy to use too. I made a quick custom texture for steam in photoshop, but I like this one called "steam trap". I may try to change it's emission angle to being horizontal, but I have not found that capability yet in the vfx editor. I am sure I will figure it out.

Yes, but faster. I modified the chimney smoke and got a decent result. I really like an effect known as "ajoc_26_steamtrap", but I cannot find its file in the VFX zip files. It must be under a different name in there. If I could get that effect to go sideways, that would be perfect for some pipes in the Luskan sewers area I am working on.

That's not a stock toolset vfx. It is in the stock game, and is included in the above link.
