I suspect you're talking about my brown dragon reskin. I got lucky with the red dragon, since there were already polygons beneath the wing junctions.

I planned to reskin a wingless black dragon to make a horned felldrake, but unfortunately there were no polygons beneath the wing junctions. You'd need someone with NWN2 modelling experience for that. My expertise is limited to retexturing existing models.

The simplest approach (for a modeller) might be to create a set of dummy wings that are just a couple of polygons that plug the gaps in the body model. Then you could clone the existing body as another armour type (eg. C_blackdragon_HD_Body01, using hide armour 0), which would mean you wouldn't need to modify any 2DAs. The new wing model would be called C_blackdragon_HD_ExtraA01. It could use the same tail as the standard black dragon.

The nwn1 one is getting worked on, conversion candidate?

Yes, I have the Bodak in-game now.

If I understand my models well enough, I could cover those holes very quickly without a need to retexture. I would simply join the vertices around the hole. There would only be a minute, probably undetectable stretch of the texture in that spot. However, textures are inexact anyway... The 3d models always contorts the 2d texture so ya... Should be fine for anyone to do.

There is a "cap holes" modifier.

The cap holes modifier. That's great if you want to see a missing texture message where the caps are.

I can do this after easter BTW. Whoever wants these done email me here with the model names to do.

No, you do not see a missing texture message.  It uses the same texture as the rest of the mesh, which appears stretched across the cap, similar to what you were proposing, but faster.  If you don't want the stretching, you manually adjust the UVs afterward.

A giant frog (I heard there is a good one in nwn1 by baba yaga that could be converted). Useful for being a giant frog in swamps, giant toad wherever toads are found, as well as a stand-in for a froghemoth.

Or scaled-down as a regular frog, to hop around swamp areas as randomly wandering eye-candy.

We need more non-hostile eye-candy creatures, to join the existing ranks of rats, rabbits, weasels, and birds. I'm sure BGR could have made good use of a squirrel model. A lizard would also be useful for desert areas.

We have an iguana model that can be used, but it needs a skeleton and animation.  :)

He's cute. It looks like there's supposed to be some alpha channel transparency along his frill.

A lizard skeleton and animations could be reused for other creature types, like crocodiles or salamanders. Their sprawl-legged postures and gaits are all quite similar.

Ah yes, there is.  I noticed that at the time and corrected it, but never took a new screenshot of it.

I think someone requested a formian (deformed giant). The Harvester_Ree from Misery Stone would do nicely since it's a lopsided deformed humanoid.

Formians are ant-centaurs (which have been converted from NWN). I think you mean fomorians.

Indeed.

I also made some crappy "Beast of Malar" reskins for the bat/panther/dire badger http://neverwinterva...s-malar-reskins if anyone wants them.

It's a pity we don't have a 'dire bat' model variant. The existing bat model looks a bit frail to be an embodiment of terror. Although...

There's a version of the bat model available that's been shifted closer to the ground for the purposes of scaling it up (otherwise the standard bat ends up too high above the player).

I tried making a Fire Bat (from mm2) using a particle emitter effect. Unfortunately it ends up looking nothing like the portrayal. It may be because the wing need more mesh faces to emit the flames evenly. *shrug*

Air mephit model approaching protagonist (left) and belching out its breath weapon (right), a cone of dust and grit. (I think I need a better casting effect than sp_ice_conjure/sp_ice_cast; maybe if I tint them a little.)

air_mephit_zpst9xefx3y.jpg

The monster manual also describes it as having a blur-like capability from emission of mist, but apparently there's no equivalent spell in NWN2.

Ed.: I added a racial blur spell effect but the creature doesn't use it much (most likely due to the weighting in henchspells.2da). *shrug* Maybe it would against a weaker opponent.

Here's "Pigpen"... otherwise known as a dust mephit.  :)  As you can see he emits a fair amount of dust. His breath weapon, while not damaging, does irritate the target inflicting -4 AC and -2 BAB for three rounds on a failed Reflex save. In combination with other creatures against a low level party, he may prove fairly effective.

Don't know if this is the right place but I'm working on some stuff and could really need help if some of you may have 3ds max animations of human/elf/gnome walking so I could continue working on them..

are you looking for the original animations imported to 3dsmax? i doubt that this ever happened. you have to re-create them from scratch.

Well, someone did make a new walking animation from scratch, so if you can get the source files from this person, you could build off of it instead of making a whole new one.
