I'd like to see one or two old places, just so I feel connected with the Ferelden we used to know, but I'm generally more interested in visiting new ones.

I want to revisit Denerim, Redcliffe and Higher(since we never saw it post HN origin or at all for other origins). I'm okay with revisiting some old places as long as mostly new places take up our time and story.

They've said previously that DAI will be a blend of familiar and new places, so we'll likely see a fair amount of old area's and new ones that we haven't seen before. They haven't really said to much about which area's in Fereldan we'll go to but they did name drop redclife ( it's highly likely that the area in the December blog update was Redclife) and confirmed Alistair being in DAI and depending on what choice you make he could be king which makes denerim likely.

As for where I'd like to go, Orzamaar, Kar'Hirol, Amarthine or Vigels keep, Ostagar, Highever, the mages tower and town, along with the two above.
Awesome I hadn't heard that ![]()

I'm interested to see the Temple of Sacred Ashes again.
Then you are in luck.

Aside from a few nostalgic places for me, I don't think I'd like to revisit areas from the first two games. They could look cool with new graphics, but I'd rather see new places in Thedas. Keep moving forward!

This is how I feel too.

Or, if not actual "revisiting", since it is open world allow us to explore and find our own ways back to some of those places; with or without it being a part of the DA:I story.
