Who doesn't love a bit of tension-filled Tango ala Mr & Mrs Smith/FemShep and Garrus? I wouldn't say no to another one of those scenes!
Nah forget dancing. I'd rather have sex.
"Dancing is a vertical expression for a horizontal desire" ![]()
But to answer OP's question, dancing at a ballroom or something would be pretty cool. As a way to interact with a LI or another NPC. As an act of diplomacy, or a sneaky way to pass a message. Or just a method of random entertainment during downtime.

Ok, now I feel really old.
You're not alone, I basically grew up with M*A*S*H*, Cosby show, Hogan's Hereos and most particularily "Scarecrow and Mrs King".
The latter was already discontinued by then for years, but they still aired it over here during my childhood days.

Dancing? Oh please, god, no.
Carlton!

A likeminded person, how marvelous.
Milady, may I ask your hand for the next round of watching others dance awkwardly while we sip on our drinks and have an eloquent, interesting conversation?
You mean like Para Para? Maybe in a Fan-Made VideoOnly if the whole dancing sequence requires the player to use the Kinect/Playstation Move to simulate the corresponding spastic moves shown on the screen, like one of those Japanese DDR games.
Plenty of non-music games have employed it well. Even the much-bemoaned FF8 was memorable for it's waltz scene. Chrono Trigger's done it, Mass Effect did a ton of this. Goofier jRPGs like the Mother Series or Anachronox did this too.Dancing? Oh please, god, no.
Dancing is a sin, and the Inquisition will not tolerate it. Those caught dancing will be subject to mandatory re-education and surgical rhythm removal. Fun is also a sin, one that we at the Inquisition - and Cassandra in particular - find abhorrent. Fun is grounds for immediate dismissal from the Inquisition.

Why thank you, kind sir, I'd be honored. ![]()

Zombies dance.
Ergo dancing is evil.

So you are going to play as a Qunari then are you?

In all honesty, how many people will NOT play as a Qunari on their first playthrough?
I bet we will be seeing a lot of female Qunari in the statistics would BioWare release that data.
Only if the whole dancing sequence requires the player to use the Kinect/Playstation Move to simulate the corresponding spastic moves shown on the screen, like one of those Japanese DDR games.
I would be very tempted to get the game on console and get the kinect if that was included.

I am amazed how she managed to keep her lean, proportioned figure. Because a couple of those moves she showed there require a LOT of upper body strenght that I wouldn't have thought she'd have from first glance.
And although I fancy myself being someone with a rather objective mindset for artistics/beauty I may be prejudiced as a man when I say that was quite a show of talent.
Of course, I like it all the more because I don't have to dance like that, ergo we're still at status quo about me not dancing ![]()

Yup, looking more, ähem ... closely, you can see she's got quite the arms and a substantial shoulder and neck.
Everybody's gonna do the Shepard.
Shoot, it had to have started somewhere, right? ![]()

Check out the world poledancing competitions sometime, that ****'s impressive as all get out. And requires an amount of strength and flexibility that would be use ful in battle, so, you know, semi-plausible.
TBH I'd dear love to see poledancing hit the olympics one day (gymnasts and icedancing are there, so) since it does require so much work. And it's not like there isn't already an outfit standard with volleyball and whatnot (a lot of people who admire the athleticism try to say 'man if they covered up it'd be a great sport' but it was invented by sex workers so they get the credit and a lot of the more advanced moves require the grippiness/friction of skin).
Dancing? Sure, but only if this lady inquisitor can dance like this:
I need to see a Dwarf PC dancing with Iron Bull. Now.
*Adds more cookies to Iron Bull LI shrine in closet*
Yes, please. But only these dance moves
