Trying to get enough stuff racked up in ME2 for the 100 point asset and wondering just what the requirements would be to get the max value. Just from normal strip mining (console player), I've managed to wrack up a massive store I'll never use up to start with. Just curious as to if its enough for the import when I finish this run though.

Eezo - 87k

Iridium - 531k

Platinum - 331k

Palladium - 416k

Sorta wanna get past having to strip down every Rich world there is so I can speed things up a bit.

That should be more than enough. My last ME2 playthrough had less than that and I got the 100 points.

I believe you just need at east 50,000 of each to actually get it, but just make sure you think you have enough to actually obtain the asset.

Main reason why I ask is because my main Paragade save generally has around 75k and 150k in the stuff that counts and only nets 25 when imported in. Never could confirm if ME1's Mineral Surveys mattered or not.

I would think it's enough.

Here is a list of a few of the mineral rich planets.

I think it gave you a bonus in minerals in ME2 when you started the game. I think.

Started with 65k across the board on this run, so yeah. I get the bonuses from ME1 + ME2 completion when I come in with imports. Thing is, that mission isnt linked to either start bonus.

You need 100 000 of each mineral to get 100 assets otherwise you only get 25 assets.

Let me add that you need to have 100k of each mineral BEFORE launching the SM. Any minerals you get after that will not be counted for some dumb reason.

Are you sure?

I was under the impression that whatever minerals were collected, regardless of when they were collected, that the last save you make in ME2 , if you use that one, that ME3 will recognize what you did. I've never got 100 000 for each since it takes too long, but I was able to collect enough to get 25 war assets in ME3 and I collected the minerals after the suicide mission.

What I have discovered is that you're meant to get the 100 WA no matter when you gather the 100k resources, pre or post SM it doesn't matter,  but the saves where I gathered the resources after the SM almost always bugged out, and didn't seem to count the resources I had gathered properly.  I had to re-import them once or even twice to get the 100. Save's where I gathered the resources before the SM never bugged out, I always got the 100 WA's in my first import and didn't have to re-import the save again.

So yeah, you can gather the resources anytime, but I advise to do so before the SM to avoid the damn bug which stops the resources you gather after the SM to not be counted. That War Asset is so very bugged.

Yeah, you need 100,000k Eezo at least, along with a high amount of other elements. If I did the math right, you have to have 999,999 combined mineral resources or above to get 100 War assets. But you have to be careful with the numbers, since going too high will reduce you to 10 assets.

Oh bugger. Seems like I am going to need to focus on Eezo collection then. Total resources collected is well over a million at this point, and Eezo just happens to be the only one under, and the hardest to make go over cause even the good sources dont provide alot.

I've found the million-mineral threshold to be the case in my games. I'm not certain if the mineral subtypes actually matter.

I may just go and give this a '**** it.' I dont need to scan another world to make sure I can get all the upgrades.

It'll be interesting to see what being under 100K eezo means for your WA points. The wiki's a bit vague about the requirements for the full award.

finding 100,000 eezo isn't all that difficult, especially if you're at 87,000 already. I typically have nearly 170,000 eezo by the time I finish ME2.

Started with 65k. Maybe added 40k max to that after stripping down every Rich world one can find on Disc 1 + DLC. Also I'm a bit lazy and feeling wary of getting any more due to having heard about what happens when you have too much. Namely the ME3 glitches out and gives you 10 instead of 25 or 100.
