Well, he's doing portentous trailering, so it's kind of expected

 

Some of it sounded very theatrical, like he normally performed Shakespeare or something.

Tbh the animations aren't all that great. Maybe that's why the faces seemed off to quite a number of people.

 

That might be it, a lot of gamers seem to want graphics/animations to be of an extremely high quality... I think I must have lower standards because the things that seem bother most people don't bother me...

Combat looks ok to me. More colours and speed looks ok. If it plays like darksouls 2 I'd be content.

 

DLC announcement is lol, but I'm going to get it on both PC and PS4 regardless.

I love Darksouls with a holy passion. It has reinvigorated an entire genre with combat agency and player skill gameplay awesomeness.

The Premium Xbox One content (for a time) sounds "interesting". I think it would benefit EA and Bioware to very quickly be extremely precise with what type of content we're talking about and how long time. E.g. if we're talking an entire adventure zone exclusive for Xbox owners for the first month after release it's a huge deal, but if it's only some gear, which will be given automatically for free to other platform owners after 1 week, then who cares.

Which means that obviously if you complete the game with a Manquisitor, you get a special post-credit scene of said Manquisitor doing a verse from 'Be Prepared'.

I can't think of a single piece of actual content that's ever been platform specific for any game. Exclusive stuff has always been just pieces of gear, or in this case I guess it could be XBL cosmetic stuff. I'm pretty confident in saying it's nothing worth worrying about.

Oh I hope this is the case. I can put up with A LOT for the sake of a favorite franchise, but XBL exclusive (and not just delayed for other platforms) story/character content... I dunno if I could handle that.

The only real takeaway I have so far is that I think the environments look better than the character models/details. But I'd want a long look. The lighting just looks so great.
