Could just be lighting, but I don't think that Inquisitor is white. I was happy when they showed these.

Oh, this pic. I don't know, he does have a different look than the guy from the trailers and he does have the fade haircut. Maybe he is a light-skin black guy. Let go ask Laidlaw.

Mike Laidlaw says it's hard to tell in that pic so for now, we don't know.

With the rift open, who knows what demons could escape from its depths.

Do we know what they are showing at E3 besides dragon combat?

I don't think dragon combat was explicitly confirmed by anybody - just hinted.

Though I'd expect a significant amount of gameplay footage in a demo.

Actually, it kinda was. I don't have a link as I don't remember where I saw it, but I believe it was Aaryn who said in a recent interview that they would be showing the mechanics of dragon combat come E3.

The unspeakable acts done by Morrigan during the dark ritual have finally been revealed:

(I just wish they'd let me post them on the twitter threads, anyone willing to post my tweets? Twitter: @DAEanders6)

Here's Cameron Lee's quote about a dragon fight at E3, credit to Baelyn in the Twitter thread.

“When I’m attacking a dragon, I’m not just hitting all of it,” producer Cameron Lee told IGN. “I’m hitting its leg, I’m hitting its wing, and that should matter. It should matter where I attack a dragon...that’s something we’re really trying to lean on, and when we come to E3, we’ll really be able to show it in all its glory.”

If there's a difference where you attack (which part of the Dragon be it the legs, the wings or the tummy), then the game is in no way tactical. I hope they have not made this game turned onto a single player Dark Soul?

How is this applicable to people who play tactically? Top-down. Am i forced to OTS (over the shoulder) view and manually targeting where i should hit the dragon? This ain't sound good tactically.

I don't think "tactical" means what you think it means. It seems you mean "isometric".

Tactical game play is just gameplay employing the use of a tactic, a strategy. The fact that this dragon has a strategy to it's fight (other than "chop at its ankles till it dies") makes dragon encounters tactical.

Whatever it is i seem to think that if player needs to physically "aim" the parts of the Dragon to make a different, then the game is "forcing" me to play OTS (On The Shoulder) view.

So what if i'm a Mage or an Archer? The game turned to a Third Person Shooting game? Will i be presented a "Cross-Hair"?.

What i'm saying. This is a STUPID idea that targeting Dragon parts as it's irrelevant if the game allow Top-Down or Isometric view.

What's stopping you from being able to precisely certain limbs in isometric mode?

If there's no Y-axis aiming, and I haven't seen any, then for iso view wouldn't you just position your characters in the appropriate spot around the dragon?

I would assume that rather than selecting "Dragon" as the focus of any party member's attack, you will be selecting "Dragon Right Leg" or "Dragon belly" just as you would select different assailants if there were a group of enemies attacking. I doubt it will be a question of physically aiming.

I would hope so that physical aiming is not the concern. But based on Cameron's comment that hitting certain parts of the dragon (be it the wings, or the legs) make a different, i seriously doubt that they are trying to focus a single player experience than a party based RPG.

Seriously if they want to make a 1 MAN Skyrim, please make another game. I gladly buy it. But not force a single player combat focus on a party-based RPG.
