That was an amazing demo. I really hope they release the whole thing for our viewing pleasure. Wonderful job Bioware, October cannot come soon enough!!

It sounds like he'll be far stronger minded and opinionated than he was in DA2.
My guess would be that Cassandra always stays with you, as her power base seems to be the foundation of the inquisition organisation.

Guys, let's remember this is only in Alpha and it looks gorgeous! In two months they'll be in Beta and it will be even better. By then they'll have probably cleaned up the HUD and UI. I cannot wait for this game, I love summer to death but October 7th please come!

The party was there, just a little more behind than what we used to, and the camera was really focused on the character selected. Every time they select a character the camera goes too close beehind it, almost over the shoulder sometimes.I also don't like this, i always play in a angle where i can see most of or the entire party, if they are too much behind, that's become a issue for me.
My guess is this camera angle was chosen to give you a better view of the Inquisitor. I'm sure you can zoom in & out like in the previous two games.

You can. As they said, you can move the camera around, and it retains the angle you've chosen... in fact, we've shown gameplay using a "higher-up" camera angle before.

It's simply conversation without control being taken away by the game-- so no zooming in, controlling camera angles, etc. You retain control of your character, and if you want to walk away in the middle of the conversation, you can. It is otherwise functionally indistinguishable from regular conversation.

Awesome interview on Twitch and gave a lot of good information. Still kind of wishing for a trailer or showing that had me pumped up for the story, but otherwise so far seems excellent.
I was left a little bit puzzled due to the heavy focus on the using resources to improve weapons if DAI will still have those epic equipments to find or if they are pushing more for players to craft their own weapons?
