The interviewer asked Laidlaw and Darrah whether Dragon Age Inquisition was a solo adventure, and they gave a Yes. Should I take that as final confirmation that multiplayer is not in the game, or was the answer only given in the context of the main story mode?

I'd love if there is no multiplayer, that BioWare would just come out and say it. I'm getting really worried about not being able to nab a Deluxe edition due to them running out, but my choice of platform depends on whether there is multiplayer or not (my preferred platform is not my friends' preferred platform).

The question was more if you HAD to have multiplayer I thought. Or did I mishear?

Yes, same thing. Party banter uses the same system, which is why you can now interact with it.

 

The only difference with party banter, really, is that those conversations don't use any animations (presumably because they are running along beside you, and not just standing somewhere).

Has anyone noticed the FemQun's voice was the american accent version and she sounded very much like Joan Allen from the Bourne trilogy and who voiced Delphine in Skyrim? I'm almost positive that was her voice.

He means literally at E3. In the building.

 

They're doing public demos of the game. 

 

The next livestream online is IGN in 3 and a half hours or so.

I was going to say, the voice sounded quite similar to whoever voices the Desire Demon in the Circle Tower in Origins. It's not the same as DD/Nadezda is more breathy. It's definitely a voice I have heard in BW games before. It could be one of the female Origins soundsets, as well. Violent? I KNOW THIS VOICE.

 

OK SORRY GOING TO BED had to figure out who I thought she sounded like. BW stays loyal to their voice actors.

Yes, that could be it. Will be interesting to hear fans impressions on it. LadyInsanity was supposed to cover DAI events at E3, so she at least will hopefuly post her views on it.

It's simply conversation without control being taken away by the game-- so no zooming in, controlling camera angles, etc. You retain control of your character, and if you want to walk away in the middle of the conversation, you can. It is otherwise functionally indistinguishable from regular conversation.

 

I hope if you choose to walk away mid-conversation, that the NPCs will yell rude things after you

Who knows? It is shorter IIRC, so that could basically mean anything.
